Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Hello, before I started use lemmy, here are some questions.
21·4 years agoWhen I first joined lemmy, I decided to test the waters with a little dark humor. Someone asked if reddit users are called redditors what should we called ourselves (lemmy users)? I jokingly said we should just call ourselves (homophobic slur f-word) and that it has a nice ring to it. I got banned immediately. So yeah, still lefty around here.

11·4 years agoI’m banned from your instance, I’m team lemmygrad. If only we had the best of both worlds. My plan of action is to bring more exposure to decentralized platforms to communities that need it the most. Communities like conservatives and conspiracy theorist/realist.
Centralization == Corruption

4·4 years agoThought I was the only that feels this way. I try to stay away from anything too mainstream/centralized but that’s where the majority of people are at. Decentralized platforms are ghost towns in comparison. It’s also a hassle to convert people into using privacy messaging apps so sometimes I just give into using sms and try not to disclosed anything too personal.
I probably got shadow banned for political reasons. So much for censorship resistant social media.
