Okay, I’ll try to find it then.
Thanks!

I didn’t get to see quali up to now, what did he say?
I’m sorry, but Calderon dominated the W-series, but did not get any resemblance of succes in F2 before that, and ended up 29th in IndyCar in 2022.
Why do you think a driver who did not even finish high in the same W-series somehow has what it takes to make it in F1.
I believe it was Tost who once said that F1 is by definition not discriminatory. Teams spend tens of millions to find fractions of a second per lap. If putting a woman behind the wheel would help, they would have done it in a heartbeat. And as soon as there is someone who is faster, F1 wants that person, regardless of gender or race or whatever.
I really don’t see enough similarities for that. The Massa-case is resting on the FIA knowing aboutfoul play and covering it up. In 2021, whatever you may think of it, there was no cover up, and an investigation after a protest by Merc stated that it was within the rules.
Exactly. Every once in a while, you have an off-weekend, and after his streak, he was due for one.
That is just peak FIA right there…
In the first test they found out that the biggest issue was actually the spray from the diffuser. So what do we test next? Bigger wheel covers…
How is that supposed to control the spray from the diffuser?
Except the small thing that this is actual foul play by a team that was kept secret by the FIA.
2021 was an a strange call by the FIA. But there was no coverup, and it was already protested by Merc and ruled as being correct.
There is just no comparison between the two, whatever you may think of 2021.
Not 2 years. This is about 2022 . We are a bit over halfway into 2023, so that is half a year.
A decent financial audit takes time, a lot of time.
Imagine 2 Verstappens in the RBR…
Mostly yes. At McLaren it was borderline winning, certainly not dominant though. And his first year at Merc (before the new regs came into force) was also not a winning car.
First Hamilton who is discrediting Max by saying he never had a decent teammate, and now this from Toto.
They aren’t handling the losing-part of the sport very well over at Merc…
In 2002 Michael Schumacher won the WDC with 6 races remaining.
Mind you that there were were only 17 races in total that season, so he took it just before two thirds of the season was done.
This season will have 22 races (excluding the cancelled ones), and two thirds of that is 14.7 races. Since the next race will be number 15, he will not be able to break that in terms of relative progress in the season. He also cannot beat the 6 races, because to do it with 7 races left he would have to become WDC in Singapore, which is mathematically not possible. He can (theoretically) do it in Japan, so he can still equal that record, albeit with more races in a season…
D will not happen. Then he will demand an additional pitstop for softs and the fastest lap.
After reading the FIA-document on this, I actually tend to agree to this decision …
It’s almost scary that I just typed this without trying to make a joke…
From what I understand they completely set the car up for quali, compromising their race-setup. And let’s be honest: they were not winning on Sunday anyway, so why not go for the glory on Saturday?
Moral of the story: even if the tactics at Ferrari are outstanding (I’m kind of proud that I was able to type that without actually laughing), they are not winning tomorrow.
F1 brought the wrong tyre-supplier…
