You can’t fool me, trickster
I feel like we scare our DM with this sometimes, when he takes a single player into another room to discuss something private and comes back to an in-character discussion over how easy it would be to poison a major NPC

the smell of heavily chlorinated water. i used to spend a heck of a lot of time at the pool when i was a kid, and where i live now there aren’t nearly as many pools, so it’s not something encountered often anymore.
As is usual, this was pulled out of the unsorted memes folder uncredited. Thank you for the sourcing
That’s why it’s important to assess the tone the DM is using when they say that.
Do they sound defeated? You’re probably about to derail away from something planned to something that will have to be fully improvised on the spot, reconsider for sanity’s sake
Do they sound excited? You’re probably about to trigger a really cool trap, full steam ahead
Because it’s not Reddit, and is active enough.
In terms of content Lemmy is definitely inferior to Reddit. So it is, it’s not very old and not very large compared to Reddit. But because of Reddit’s decisions, I’m here instead of there.

I only really wishlist games that haven’t come out yet that I’m interested in, to remind me to buy it when it comes out. Only about ten items on mine.
The only one I have found was !hades@lemmy.zip, but it isn’t very active.
Doesn’t kill but stuns still work.
Official casual matchmaking can be rough, as you can gather from the comments, but it depends heavily on what maps you select to play and what region you are in. If it turns out to be too rough, check out community servers instead; many will be heavily modded custom stuff, but many more will be just plain vanilla gameplay.
Also, pick up mastercomfig and go through the installation. It will improve performance and also make the game look a bit better if you have a better PC.
If you end up liking the game, I would drop a few bucks to buy some crate keys from the in-game store. This will make your account no longer F2P, greatly expanding your backpack size. You can trade or sell the keys later on the community markets to pick up all the weapons and some hats (check scrap.tf, it’s a good site for this).
I promise you that despite the garbage that has accumulated over like 15 years, it’s still a good game. You say you’ve played Overwatch - that game took some inspiration from this one, so you may feel some similarity. Good luck!
Exactly, you get it!
