Nah, I don’t typically eat wild shrooms. Mostly just morels and COTW because those I can positively identify. I’d likely harvest and eat chanterelles, but I never find them.

Looks like a stinkhorn in the appropriately named Phallus genus.

Not only that, but they’re deadly killers in their nymph stage too. Elite aquatic hunters in the water and attack helicopters in the sky. Truly an apex predator in their niche.

I found one of these wandering gliders a few days ago. They’re very pretty dragonflies.

You could be right, but I still believe these are at least in the Galerina genus. My flash was a little harsh on the stems, so it’s hard to make out what’s left of the partial veil, but there is a clearly visible line.

These are a very close match and they’re listed as Galerina marginata

Yes there appears to be remnants of a partial veil. I’m pretty sure Galerina marginata has a partial veil. I could be wrong tho, I’m definitely not qualified to ID them.
