Makes sense.
Makes sense.
Ah, I thought populous was more popular than that. I guess it was just popular in my friend group at the time. Would have been populous 1 and 2 we were playing, I didn’t even know a third one came out. I guess the most recent god game would be Godus, developed by peter molyneux’s current company. Essentially a modern sequel to populous 1 and 2. I haven’t actually tried it yet, last I looked it was still in beta or early access or something. And it looks like that makes sense as it apparently has been in early access for over 10 years… it seems decently high rated, but that is kind of concerning none the less.
Yeah, but at least they’re finally moving up relative to other countries. They don’t usually do that. Hopefully it isn’t indicative of them standing still and the other countries they passed just getting worse, lol.
At his level of power, he can apparently make some changes and then delete the log of them. Only other server admins can see it then. But I’m getting this second hand from other server admins, haven’t seen it myself.
Him being communist isn’t the problem, throwing his weight around unnecessarily is what is upsetting people. And he just keeps doing it. Like he just gets in a mood and decides to ban a bunch of people for fake violations they didn’t actually do. It’s all logged and people with high enough status can see the logs. He goes on tirades.
It is the burger, I’ve had this one a few times today and it was always the burger. Maybe you have something else going on, sometimes adblockers break them. Whether intentionally or not, who knows.
I bet if we blur it a bit and do an image search with it, we’d get pictures of a drink sitting on a beach and it’s shadow.
It’s worth it, the game is actually one of the best space games ever now. In a genre that is pretty hard to be best in. So many amazing choices for space games. I’d argue the game is almost as good now as people thought it was gonna be before it released, hehe.
Well, “always” as long as release day culture persists. So it’s entirely up to marketing. We certainly have the technology for the whole world to know a game is “close” without knowing when it will actually be done, only to know within an hour that it was surprise launched with no announcement. If that was the normal way stuff was done, it wouldn’t take long for everything to get used to that way of doing things and the support structures will spring up naturally around it.
Oh ok. Yeah fair. I guess I’m used to the simplified version. Where it doesn’t use the full list, just splits it in half. This method would also work for odd lists of numbers rather than only even. Makes sense.
There is a bit of a typo in it. Since the list of 100 numbers was split in half, it should be x50 not x100. 50 sets of 101 from each pair.
Wait, is this why my insurance is suddenly so low? Does it go both ways? People always call me a “boring” driver. As far as I’m concerned, driving on the open road shouldn’t be “fun”, it should be taken seriously. There are places you can go to drive for fun at no one else’s expense.
Yeah, start terraforming other planets please… but don’t use money to do it, I want the money. I’ll give it to my friends instead, but please go terraform other planets for me.
“Surviving” is one thing. Why can’t we also continue to enjoy life like you guys got to do? You wouldn’t have been able to last a day in the world you left for us. Which is why as it got closer and closer to affecting you too, you just pushed harder and harder to keep it away from you, doing more and more damage for the rest of us to feel instead.
I would be totally ok with even the bigger developers just having tip jars on their websites. It took me so long to get money to the relevant peoples after a few years as a teen of pirating stuff and then eventually reforming and feeling bad after. But I also wouldn’t mind if games were cheaper as a whole, but you could tip the ones you enjoyed. Gives incentive for games to be worth it when you have finished them, rather than before you start them.
Is it? I get that China is “the bad guy”, but does that automatically mean everything China does is intended to hurt the US? Or did they just want to help themselves? Just because the US wasn’t in a position to handle it happening, doesn’t retroactively make it an intentional attack.
The whole point of mass producing something is to make the process more efficient, which lowers the cost. They also hurt themselves if they accidentally end up oversupplying in the process, as then the price is lowered by a higher ratio than their savings on manufacturing costs.
Yeah, space games are tough. All the best space games are partially fleshed out frameworks that slowly get a bit more fleshed out over time until they either get so old they start a sequel or die out.
Mostly I use my VR headset as a more comfortable version of something like a Steam Deck. Just Virtual Desktop to my computer and play whatever computer game or program I want to use, except from my recliner hanging out with my family instead of down in my computer room. I can watch TV with them while putting my Virtual screen right beside the TV. I have written alot of posts about it if you want to check my history, look for any post more than 5 paragraphs, lol.
I also play alot of stand alone and PCVR games. And I watch 3D movies, and play PC games in 3D or converted to VR. And emulators, especially the ones that have VR support. But even just regular emulators too.
VR has replaced computer, TV, console, and exercise time for me. You can play it standing, or sitting, or laying down. It only takes about 100 dollars of mods to make any headset comfortable for 8+ hour sessions.
I also have family in New Zealand, I’m in Canada, so I hang out with them in VR. Helps feel like we are still meeting up in person. We play some mini golf, or minecraft, or whatever.
Well, you got the answers you were looking for, here is a different answer. To your other implied question, how to not worry about dust getting in other holes.
Main thing is to develop positive air pressure. You want more powered intake than powered exhaust.
Use fans for all your filtered air intakes, ignore powered air exhaust, run it at lower fan speeds if you can. Air will get out fine. If you force the air in where you want it to go in, dust will only go into the easily removable filters, it won’t be on your components. Any extra hole in the case will just be exhausting the already filtered air. Then just remember to actually check and clean your filters. That’s the hard part. But if you clean them when they need to be cleaned, you will never have to actually clean the inside or the fans or components or anything else, just the filters.
