The world has become complacent about democracy for the people. By the time you realise he is not just a clown it will be too late and it will take you another four years to remove him. People are willing to back him with large amounts of cash just so they can get a leverage with legislation that will make them even more money. Don’t be conned by the persona, follow the money tree, then think if you should be worried.

This reaches further than the UK has implemented over the last five years. The Tories have done most of this under other guises. To give a single person this level of power is the most dangerous thing a country can do. It is currently abused on a huge scale in the UK. We have the most dishonest government ever in our history imo. They abuse the offices they are in control of. Trump is looking to gain the same level of powers.

Giving government control of the media is callously stupid. There is no truth in UK media anymore. They only report on things that keep the government in a good light. The problem of Brexit is that no one will admit to the truth about it. This would mean the government is brought under the spotlight for its failings, and rather than stand up to the issue, everything is just never spoken of. It has taken seven years just to get the problem of Brexit mentioned. And still no one wants to resolve it, that is either in government or opposition. The main opponents of the issues around Brexit are from the minor parties.

The government took over our Electoral commission. We have have a government department that is only ever used for political gain. They will investigate other parties, but are not allowed to look into things concerned with the people in power now. There was an order not to look into Russian intervention with the Brexit referendum itself. Public funds are abused for political campaigns. Standards are just held up anymore.

Governments need accountability. Without it they run amok in an effort to hold onto their own positions. This leads to rabbit holes that are difficult to get out of. Corruption runs out of control. Lobbyist find it very easy to buy out legislation which is never good for the population at large.

All of this comes under the light of the infamous page 48 of the 2019 tory manifesto. Please learn from the mistakes that have happened in the UK and never allow a government to push this sort of agenda.

Russia is also not the Threat it was. It still has vast nuclear weaponry. You could argue that having a nuclear threat based in the black sea could prove useful, but would you really want your best technological advantage in such a precarious position. It would take very little to blockade and trap a sub in the black sea. We also have a credible land link to the black sea now.

So yes, this would be true back in the 50’s when Turkey was invited. It is not so much the case now. Military transport is vastly more refined. Even the political landscape around Russia has turned on its head. Turkey’s significance is diminished many fold because of this.

He shouldn’t be allowed to use his NATO membership as a lever to coerce other member states into doing things they are not comfortable with. If Erdogan wants to carry on this track then NATO should be re-evaluating if they want Turkey as a member.

I must admit the £70 price tag stopped me dead. I still have mates who invest a lot of time in Blizzard software. Which makes me return for short spells. I played DF WoW exp for about 4 months and left with 9 months of gametime. I never learn.

I have learned to be very much anti Blizzard/Activision. I find some of their practises for nickel and diming customers abhorrent. In saying that though, I have some very long standing friends from my WoW days.

I used to love D2. I played it for years. D3 was ok until they brought in the resistance crap, then I never played it again. I played D4 on the free weekend and was not impressed. I have some mates that are playing it daily though, so there must be something there.

I am about 100 hours into Grim dawn instead of D4. I have to say I am loving it. I am also reading comments in the steam discussions of people saying they have dropped D4 to come back to GD.

Long time Diablo OG since the original. Currently have 2 x 100 characters on D4 and have been waiting for season 1 to start. I bought this game to kill time while waiting for season 1 to D4 and I am shocked that I’m actually enjoying this much better than D3 & D4! I am barely finishing Act I and only have 8 hours of game play so far but if this game continues to impress then this might surpass D2! Well done!

UPDATE: 50+ hours within 5 days of ownership and I’m addicted. I just completed Veteran campaign + AoM DLC (took my time to explore). I am barely getting started with FG DLC but the Crucible and SR have been refreshing. I am running a guide for Warder from RektbyProtoss and it has been a fun experience.

This game is a MASTER PIECE! If you’ve been on the fence look no further and just buy it, it’ll be the most fun ARPG you’ve ever played. Good job Devs!

Minimum wage limits need to be set by an NGO independent body. The UK uses a living wage criteria. My opinion that even the voluntary real living wage is set too low atm. This also does not take into account for the rent increases that are hitting kids due to interest rate rises. Even so, I still see this as a massive leap over the shambles that the US is. The current government is trying extremely hard to implement US limits in the UK.

Another reason why we should never have privatised a national commodity.

The US really needs a minimum wage. Without it this will never stop.

The biggest threat I see from AI is that it will become another tool for those who have over those who have not. The thing we need to combat this is transparency with finances, so that those who are earning these vast sums can be taxed accordingly.
