They’re the first to complain that they aren’t being included.
Aren’t most of them about to lose their seats? I can see the remnant tory party begging for a deal if it goes as badly as some polls are predicting.
“Everyone Hates Kurtzman”
And how did they breathe?
Keep going my child I’m almost there.
How did this prick make selection?
Come on now fella, who his grandparents were pumped by is hardly of relevance here.
“We’ve left Normandy by mistake!”
There is no government at the moment, parliament isn’t sitting, there isn’t a health minister, there is no one for the docs to negotiate with. All this does is further increase the backlog for operations which is not something that typically endears you to the public.
Docs have made a strategic mistake for striking in the middle of election when negotiations are impossible.
Yup, gets his face on the front pages the same day as the big Labour/Tory debate on ITV. Whoever threw it has done Farage a huge favour.
Politicians in a democracy are supposed to be representatives of the electorate, as such there is no “qualification” needed, nor should there be. That there is such an academic pathway, and from a single institution, is fundamentally anathema to representative democracy.
It’s election season and he’s not even running…
He’s also a great canary to blame/sack when it all goes wrong. He’s an ambitious little scrote though so he’d be a nightmare on the back benches.
Her being in news right now is entirely due to Labour dragging out her suspension for as long as possible. They could have restored the whip 5 months ago and avoided this mess entirely.
I’m not sure “nobody believes” them, you and me might but the general population is a broad spectrum. Waiting times for routine appointments are already at an all time high and some of that is due to industrial action, this proposed strike will make that worse.
Striking is an important tool for workers to be used as a last resort to bring an employer to the negotiating table. That’s not the case here, there is no “employer” as such until after the election, so what’s the point? Simply ‘raising awareness’ is a pretty poor justification.
I’m not entirely convinced that strike action should be used in this way. It’s too easy for the Tories to point at the docs and blame them for waiting times going up.
He’s been firmly out of Trek since Enterprise.
