I’d go so far as to say anyone who supports genocide is a piece of shit.

Piggybacking on to this excellent comment to elaborate on modding New Vegas. Everything except NVR works great! I’d recommend using this to install MO2
4GB patcher has a Linux specific version on the Nexus Mods page.
You can run most tools like the BSA decompressor or the TTW installer using Protontricks.
xLODGen can be added as a tool to MO2 and just works.
edit: Forgot to mention, Wabbajack doesn’t work. Best just to run it on a Windows VM and move the files. Also, the current working version of MO2 doesn’t support Root builder. So just move any files that need to be in the game folder directly to the game folder.
Capital punishment or Begin Again?
It does not. A bit of intense work arounds can kind of make it happen, but many lists just fail.
Best bet it to use a VM of Windows, (or dual boot or whatever). But if you use Virtualbox, dont try to use a shared folder to make moving the mods easy, it just crashes the whole VM. My lazy work around was to use sftp to move the mods after.
Yeah, its a good thing Bethesda games aren’t really known for having a vibrant modding community. Otherwise a bunch of headlines saying “new update breaks mods” might turn away a bunch of players who had originally played it on console and would have bought it on PC to try those mods.
Sarcasm aside, the amount of potential new players who changed their minds due to broken mods are far greater than the amount of new players who wouldn’t have gotten it if not for the update. If Bethesda dropped the update even a couple months ago, they could have had the best of both world. It was poorly timed, and definitely cost them sales.
Lol, oh, guess I was preaching to the choir.
Its the most simple handheld gaming PC by far. As with all unfamiliar systems, there is a learning curve that exists, and person to person the difficulties in this will vary. But at a base level, out of the box, the SteamDeck is almost as simple to grasp as something like a Switch (or any other console). If you just want to game, and just want it to work, SteamDeck is your best choice.
Full disclosure though, the deeper you choose to dig into advanced use, the more complicated this question becomes. If you are more familiar with Windows, then using the desktop on a Windows handheld will naturally make more sense at first. But if you are comfortable with Linux (or put in the time to learn), the SteamDeck is far easier to use fully handled than it’s competition thanks to easy to remap on the fly controls and the track pads. But again, this second “advanced usage” point is moot if you just want to buy games from Steam and have them work out of the box.
He says as much in the article.
he says it’s “likely” that, as is the case with crunch culture, “managers may acknowledge creating the circumstances leading to burnout…”
Lol, well if it isn’t the pot calling the kettle black
Low hanging fruit tastes just as good, and for a lot less work.
Ah, but dont forget Ghandi’s famous quote.
“If a man posts a meme, surely his whole world view is encapsulated in it. For truly I say to you, no human can have depth beyond a joke that they make.”
But then again, maybe you and Ghandi are just making assumptions as shallow as the jokes you are mocking.
America is a part of the world? I really have been gone a long time…
More than you are implying. An Apple product means you have to buy from Apple. At least with android you can order a Fairphone. Which, while not perfect, is significantly better in the “slave labor” category.
lol, holy shit… I can’t believe I didn’t notice that.
So I apparently have too much free time and wanted to check. So I asked ChatGPT how long the border was exactly, and it could only get an approximate guess, and it had to search using Bing to confirm.
Sure, I get the point about it wanting to make you feel small and what not. But it was still a dumb way to say it, PR speaking. Now all the headlines get to be “Bethesda says game isn’t boring”. That’s not a good way to steer the conversation about your recently released to mixed opinion game.
And Emilio’s reaction, regardless of it was surprising, justified, or whatever, is clearly him talking about the games reaction. So saying that people dont know why “it is why it is”, it reads like he’s trying to distance the conversation from “how it is”, which again makes for terrible headlines and also sounds suspiciously like he is conceding that the negativity has merit.
It’s cool you like it, you do you. But Bethesda’s PR game has been hot garbage.
I mean, Bethesda’s PR response has been much, much worse.
Telling players “actually, the game isn’t boring”, is not just condescending, but also a dumb way to make sure the conversation about the game is about how boring it is.
And Emilio going on a rant about how people “don’t know why the game is the way it is”, is not just condescending and unprofessional, but also makes it sound like he is soft admitting the general complaints about it being boring are true.
Also, it doesn’t help that the game is kinda boring…
Damn man, I know rootkits and your comment is a rootkit!
All good jazz musicians and role players know, its not about the notes you play, but the ones you don’t.
Edit: After watching HBomberguy’s plagerism video, I feel compelled to mention that this is a butchered Miles Davis quote. Borrowed from “Biopic Of The Cool: Don Cheadle Channels A Jazz Legend In ‘Miles Ahead’” by Amy Nicholson, www.mtv.com. March 30, 2016.
Their not worried about it
