Iranian armed forces have so far carried out 46 waves of missile and drone strikes with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.

The IRGC confirmed that Iraqi resistance forces’ air defenses shot down the KC-135 “Stratotanker”:
Iraq’s resistance groups have struck down a US Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker, a symbol of American overreach and aggression.
The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) also said in a statement that the air defense systems of the Resistance Front succeeded in targeting a Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker tanker while it was refueling an aggressor fighter jet, killing six of its crew members.
Russian humanitarian aid is being delivered to Iran:
Trucks with Russian humanitarian aid crossed the Azerbaijani-Iranian border and entered the Islamic republic, Azerbaijani news agency APA reported.
According to it, after appropriate procedures the passage of vehicles with medicines sent through the Astara border checkpoint was ensured.
Iran’s new Supreme Leader stated that all US imperialist bases should be closed and that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed:
The lever of blocking the Strait of Hormuz must continue to be used, he said.
“However, we will obtain compensation from the enemy by any means necessary. If they refuse, we will seize their assets to the extent we deem appropriate. Should that not be possible, we will destroy an equivalent amount of their property,” Khamenei said.

MoA rejected the US fake news about Iran supposedly “mining the Strait of Hormuz”:
The U.S. has claimed, without evidence, that Iran has started to lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz. I do regard that as fake-news and unlikely to happen. Mines are a last resort as they do not discriminate between a ship’s nationality. They would also hit Iranian and Chinese tankers.
Iran has many other means beyond mines, like missiles or fast boats, to prevent ships it does not want to pass from using the Strait.
The U.S. Navy knows this. That is why it has rejected all requests to escort ships through the Strait.
The IRGC struck three freighters that attempted crossing the Strait of Hormuz without permission:
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced its forces struck the Mayuree Naree, a Thai-flagged dry bulk vessel, after it failed to heed warnings not to enter the strait.
The ONE Majesty, a Japan-flagged container ship, sustained minor damage from an unidentified projectile as it traveled 46 kilometers off the coast of the UAE.
The Marshall Islands-flagged bulk carrier Star Gwyneth was struck by an unidentified projectile approximately 80.5 kilometers northwest of the UAE coast.

The 40th wave of the Corps’ counteroffensive additionally hit US bases in the region such as al-Azraq in Jordan and al-Kharj in Saudi Arabia.
An update on Iran’s air defenses work against drones:
“By now, the national air defense system downed 104 drones of various types: Hermes, Heron, Orbiter, and MQ-9 [Reaper]. Also, one advanced Hermes drone was captured intact and handed over to specialists and engineers of the aerospace industry,” the Iranian state-run TV and radio broadcaster quoted an IRGC as saying in a statement.
“It should be noted that 95% of the downed unmanned aerial vehicles were carrying various types of weapons and were destroyed by the country’s advanced air defense network before reaching their targets,” the statement says.
Iranian officials see no reason to negotiate with Washington:
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi: “Negotiations with the United States are no longer on the agenda.”
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf: “We are absolutely NOT seeking a ceasefire. We believe the aggressor must be struck in the mouth so that it learns a lesson and never again even thinks of attacking dear Iran.”

BREAKING: the most influential Shiite cleric, Grand Ayatollah Sistani (who resides in Iraq) has issued a Fatwa on the Iran war, decreeing “collective religious obligation” for communal defense. The last time he issued such a fatwa was in June 2014 after ISIS capture Mosul.
Iran is prepared to fight a long war against US imperialism:
The head of Iran’s Strategic Council on Foreign Relations says the United States has proved that it does not know the language of diplomacy, and that Tehran is ready for a long war.
“I no longer see any room for diplomacy. Because [US President] Donald Trump deceives others and does not keep his promises, and we experienced this in two rounds of negotiations. While we were negotiating, they attacked us,” Kamal Kharrazi said in an interview with CNN.
Russian Ambassador to UK Andrey Kelin: “We are not neutral. We support Iran.”
The oil futures market just opened. It is now trading at over $107. By comparison, on Friday evening, February 27th, when markets closed shortly before the start of Washington’s latest aggression against Iran, it was trading at only $67. So we have already seen an increase of around $40 in only nine days!

In total at least two third of the land-based U.S. ballistic missile defense capability in the Middle East is no longer there.
U.S. war cheerleaders assert that Iran has fired less missiles in recent days than during the very first days of the war. However – with THAAD mostly disabled – Iran will need to launch less missile now to achieve similar results as during the first days.
Besides THAAD there are also a number of Patriot air defense batteries active in the Middle East. These are however unreliable against missiles and too expensive to use against drones. A number of these systems, owned by the U.S. and U.S. allies, have been attacked and destroyed but there is no final tally.

Well, on March 4, 2026 the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) in Germany—the largest US Department of Defense hospital outside the United States and the primary overseas trauma/evacuation hub for injured service members from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa—sent out a memo announcing the temporary suspension of its labor and delivery services “until further notice.” The memo did not explicitly define the “primary objective,” but LRMC’s core role is treating combat- and training-related injuries. It also is the main medical evacuation point for wounded troops from ongoing operations.
A knowledgeable friend who supervised DOD’s Wounded Warrior Program during the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars and worked with personnel at the LRMC, learned today that there is a flood of casualties arriving at the hospital. The numbers are so large that the hospital could no longer continue to spend resources on birthing babies.
