Life Hack: Replace the ‘www’ part from the URL with ‘sh’. For example: replace
www.reddit.com/post1/...
with
sh.reddit.com/post1/...
It should be easy to write a script that replaces these URLs. This allows using reddit with my VPN (Mullvad) turned on. I don’t know why reddit offers such a workaround, but it works for me.
Oh right, I think I stumbled upon this issue as well. Have you checked if you’ve received any E-Mail? I didn’t know the account got suspended until I checked my mails
When I cleaning up my instagram account I wanted to delete all bookmarks. There was no button for “delete all”, so I also looked for a script. Then my account got suspended for like 2 weeks because its against their TOS to give such tools access to my account…
Well I used to use it when I was still using normal Android. When I open Vanadium I get greeted with the last page I visited and I get distracted from that, so a search widget helps me.
Today I learned that Vanadium has a search widget, so thanks for the post :D
Unfortunately I’m experiencing the same thing :( Not too big of a deal for me to do manual updates once every two weeks or so but still an annoyance
Creating memes…
It was never the Green party shutting down nuclear reactors but the conservatives in reaction to Fukushima. One of them even threated to resign if this doesn’t happen. But now they blame it in the Green party because they are populists not caring about the truth. (good exposing video about how mich bullshit Mr Söder says: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnBv-Y-ZjB8 at timecode 23:40)
I think if Fairphones get GrapheneOS support, it would be a no brainer for many. A phone you can repair yourself, which is fairly produced, with the safety and the absence of Google from GrapheneOS would be a good combo
That looks nice. If you want to share it, I’d totally try it out!
A bit off topic but I’m thinking about switching to Dvorak or Colemak and I’m concerned with the tactile bumps on the J and F keycaps. Did you leave them where they so you still got that tactile reference? Or did you switch them so they actually represent they layout?
I’m on X11 and have a nvidia graphics card. I tried installing new packages (some nvidia ones) in the software updater to resolve the problem, but it lead to both my screens not being recognized. After a reboot there were a couple errors, so I could not fully boot. Then I went into Recovery Mode and selected the “repair broken packages” options and then it started with everything working as expected So problem resolved, thanks anyway :D
Oh, thanks for the tip :) I was looking for a replacement here on Lemmy and was a bit puzzled why there are rarely any posts on a community for such a big game
Astralis… On one side they can compete against Tier 1 teams and also win those matches especially with device topping the scoreboard. On the other side they lose matches they really shouldn’t like against Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams and they didn’t make it to the major. They are going to sign Stahr (I think next year) so I don’t expect them to do very good the rest of the year with this roster destined to change soon. I hope they can get back to their form now that they accept there need to be changes (like switching underperforming Xyp9x with a talent player.
I’m generally willing to pay for a service (I donate to Open Source Projects I regularly use) because of course there are server costs, development costs, etc. But in this case and after all that Reddit has done to its user base it would be a very bad signal to give them money for it… I like Infinity for reddit and would love to have an Infinity for Lemmy
I agree, the first two problems are rather easy to solve with phonetrack or any other of the tracking apps like µlogger, Owntracks, Traccar, etc. and nextcloud or the backend you provided. What is the reason that the simple heatmap is not ideal? Does it also lag or are you looking for filters functionality, etc.? The data pre processing must be challenging cause thats the part really seperating the self hosted solutions to Google’s one. If one could pre process the data on a nextcloud server and could render it on a map without significant lags, that would be really cool. Maybe I’ll try to work on that in the future when I got more advanced in programming.
Gave it a second try :)
