Mozilla is bending the knee to Russia? Is this real life? Have we stepped into an alternate timeline? Whats going to happen to all the psycho FireFox users when they find out this happened, will they stop screaming at everyone to use FireFox?

You can just use Unity 2021.3 LTS, its still under the old terms. (Or any version prior)
Aren’t the ads part of the point of the movie?
Hideaki Anno designed it to have holes on purpose, that even he cannot explain.
Remember when Nintendo said the Nintendo DSi was unhackable?
Three days.
Considering execs usually are fired for ignoring shareholder demands, I would say regardless of how many shares execs have in a company, attempting to meet shareholder demands is always in their favor. This is irrelevant to the point I was making.
Yes, thats part if what I was talking about. The shareholders have unreasonable and unrealistic demands. Companies cannot infinitely have increasing profits year over year, but that is what shareholders demand. So the execs try to achieve those unreasonable demands, which results in overhiring because of course if more people work in a game then obviously the games will be done faster and better resulting in more profit, according to their thinking.
Im just saying that while executives are being greedy, they are only one cog in the machine.
I think that yes, the execs are greedy, but there are also two other problems:
Shareholders are also greedy, arguably even more greedy than company employees (executives are employees).
Developers have been overhiring, which is generally a symptom of someone not knowing what they are doing thinking that hiring more people makes things faster/better when actually the opposite is the case.
Out of touch, greedy executives that dont know what theyre doing, trying to meet unreasonable demands of shareholders? Yeah, perfect storm material.
Google using the classic source: “Trust me, bro.”
This art style reminds me of Claymore.
Its really unfortunate that the ml admins are the way they are. Too bad there cant be a mass mod message sent as a DM to subscribers telling them where to move to. That make sit tedious and can make those left behind feel lost. But I guess if enough move over and the anime community that is more social than this one gets bigger maybe itll be easier to find? Who knows.
I was only here because it was the first search result a while back.
ml admins hate anime and don’t want it on their instance. Simple as that.
It will be interesting for sure, but let’s not fool ourselves into believing that NPCs with AI behaviours will be better in all cases like modern game players seem to with open world game design.
Not every game needs an open world, and in some cases open world game design can end up doing more harm than good. This will be something that developers should look at on a game by game basis, and not a default plugin that everyone uses for every NPC in their game.
There is a lot of anti-anime hatred lately, especially on social media like Lemmy, Reddit, and Twitter. With more popularity comes more haters, par for the course really.
It may be better to move to an anime focused instance, but thats what most instance owners want. They dont want CSAM but they also dont want anime in general, so they can just claim they’re the same thing and get rid of both.
Bobby going to Bungie is only an uncomfirmed rumor.
However, I will never forgive Bungie.
They did Marty and Joe dirty, Marty by trying to rescind his company shares and Joe for the way Jason Jones treated him in Destiny 1s developement
They absolutely ruined Destiny 1 and 2, though 2 far more than 1
They deleted content that I paid for without my permission, removing my ability to choose to access it (this is when I stopped playing Destiny altogether)
They’re tarnishing Marathon’s good name by making it a PvEvP extraction looter shooter
“We want you to throw money at the screen” famous quote (they really thought it was a good idea to say that)
If Bobby does become CEO there, I would not be surprised. But I actually dont think its possible for Bungie to get any lower.
Have they added the multiplayer mode from that fork to master yet?
Square Enix has announced that it will be shutting down two mobile games, Engage Kill and Full Metal Alchemist Mobile, in March.
Beehaw seemed too fast and heavyhanded with defederating a while back. IMO, defederation is really a “last resort” style of option, not a “first response,” so Beehaw using it essentially as a “first response” to some of the bigger instances kinda told me that Beehaw wanted to be off on an island by itself. Like it wanted to be a private forum instead of a Lemmy instance.
I don’t miss Beehaw, and Beehaw disappearing from Lemmy wouldn’t matter to me, because as far as I am concerned it kinda already did that.
The purpose of Lemmy is to be open and connected, not a private walled garden. If it doesn’t fit what you want, then use something else.
Basically, what is there for 90% of Lemmy users to miss, if you effectively banned 90% of Lemmy users by defederating the biggest instances in the first place? They already dont interact or see your content, unless they’re using multiple accounts, which would be no different if Beehaw wasnt a Lemmy instance at all.
Whether it is accurate or not is not important. The context of the religious imagery and content in Evangelion is purely for aesthetics.
If it doesn’t clone assets of their game then Nintendo legally can’t do anything. Gameplay elements are not protected like that.
