God, or the love cats. Take your pick.
It’s a brutal reality of what lies behind the ‘glamour’ of politics. I loathe to defame an opposition of trump but there’s some really unacceptable decision making going around, not just in the US.
Not a big user of condiments so the only one I’ve come up with, and therefore technically a favourite - egg yolk and ketchup. I make it when I have a fried egg so, whatever cooked breakfast combo I’ve also made with it.
Are you conflicted about finding someone you rationality don’t find attracted to, attractive? Does it feel like you’d loose your life as you currently know it, should you end up in a relationship with them because they’re so different, resulting in you loosing those other people you refer to?
You sound like you understand the differences between both people well so that’s good. Our hormones are crazy things that throw all sorts of emtions at us! Maybe try to see this as an exercise in finding/securing what you want in life, what people etc. You clearly see this other person as not your type ultimately, but they still have that ‘thing’ that makes you a bit giddy! Enjoy it for its silliness, safe that you know you’re highly unlikely to actually choose them! :)
Spoilsport! But like you say this is fiction, and entertainment, it is a fantasy world! :)
But yeah, the last one bugs me in soo many films and tv shows. They have super advanced AI robots tech, they can regrow a hand in a day, no more disease and live 257, transport living moving organisations across great distances, have developed telepaths and telekinetics, and can fold space-time, but are fucked if they can shoot straighter than a drunk badger with one ‘arm’, balancing on a log going down a rapids!
Nope, it’s a dance.
Ole!
I much prefer unknown/less popular stuff as I enjoy discovering stuff unique to my social circle so am not talking about myself, but I believe that a positive emotional feedback through sharing/being a part of its success is a major draw for many people. Like supporting a particular sport team or person.
Had a quick search: “Grow Alocasia ‘Polly’ in bright light out of direct sunlight, in free draining peat-free compost. A minimum temperature of 16ºC is perfect, ideally in a humid location, such as a bathroom. If the room isn’t humid enough, you can increase humidity levels by standing the pot on a tray filled with pebbles and then add water until it rises to just below the bottom of the pot.”
If relevant, try addressing humidity and ensure it stays out of direct sunlight. It could be waiting until conditions are favourable.
I spent two months or so travelling around the north and south islands and barely saw any sheep! Far more cows strangely. I didn’t feel like I had missed anything and wasn’t actively looking gor them, but it was surprising!
Ah, on the contrary, it shall (and has already been) used for personal use also :)
A hire car for work whilst I wait for mine to go into the garage. (I can claim back on expenses).
Oh the joys of narcissists. I luckily missed the marriage bit, but a 5 year relationship was a rough one to end. There is no discussion with narcissists, just endless frustration at their instinctual responses to protect themselves. Remember, they’re the ones missing out on so much from life because they’re driven by a deep insecurity we can barely imagine!
Keep going, there will be an end and a time when you can finally move on!
It looks like cornflower and knapweed seeds of UK species, so I’d expect a relative native to that region. Sow it, they’ve got a good rate of germination so you could find out that way :)
I don’t think in terms of respect about something like this as this leans towards some kind of snobbery or predudice. Either I agree or don’t. Regardless of any perceived level of knowledge or intelligence behind an argument, I’ll respond as a point of advancing shared knowledge rather than trying to ‘win’.
We had clap for carers/NHS(healthcare) workers in the UK. Each Thursday at 8pm. Pots and pans were also employed.
A nice idea initially to give some emotional support to those on the ‘frontline’, that ultimately did f-all to help anyone when they really needed government support (which they didn’t get) and essentially turned into little more than vitrue signaling. Happy days.
Alas, I’ll never be able to afford Airwolf!
Great, now I want miniature model pirate ships to put in my coffee!
Also Hong Kong, not really an invasion, but definitely not a welcomed rule of power after the UK left.
