Thanks for guiding me to the guide.
Thanks for guiding me to the guide.
you know sometimes life happens and software development is something i wish i could do.
im very sorry but i cant afford a vpn because im a teen with no job and my family dosent see the point in using vpns unless your part of a big company, which annoys me at times.
thank you for all this info.
well ill do my best to follow your order but do i need a vpn?
if i go with linux or linux mint do i need a vpn or something or am i good without one? sorry if im being paranoid.
ok ill give linux a try then but is there a certain version of linux you would suggest? one person suggest mint btw. if i go with Linux do i need a vpn or am i good without one?
is there a Linux distro you suggest?
ive tried that and its great but they always have some sort of block that prevents you from downloading/copying dvds, and they only have so much and what if i want something like a video game or software, what do i do?
we bacily have a similar story, i use to be in lemmy.fmhy.ml because of how open it was to discussion but i believe its gone now which stinks, so i moved to lemm.ee which im ok with at the moment, i guess.
that is good to know, i wonder how people even get away with it… or if there are safer alternatives?
a reproduction of something that is made by an unofficial company or individual, it can range from video games, cards, movies, etc.
if there is a better way of saying this anybody feel free to jump in.
im wondering that too, but the reviews are pretty good.
but are they legal to sell?
do you have any suggestions? (Preferably free ones for a low end pc)… also i was thinking of starting something like a youtube but i wasent sure.
i also stink at fps games, and i wound have suggested roblox but it updates just like steam, so i guess i wish you luck, also there is this site called itch.io which has a bunch of free and paid games and many other things.
krunker.io is a fast based shooter game with alot of jumping that can be played in the browser.
also have you considered mmorpgs? ill list some that are light? realm of the mad god. runescape/old school runescape. albion online tibia
yeah those are the only lightweight ones i know about that dont take up too much space…
What are you trying to make?
I would like to make something like a visual novel, a point and click adventure, text based game, or something like that but i may be dreaming too big. so what your saying is unity is probably my best bet?
also what about ai for coding/learning code?
its ok, i will keep theses noted too.
ive have been wanting to make games but im not sure what language or engine to learn, also it seems very daunting.
By chance do you know of any that dont use torrents but instead use direct downloads?
