As it currently stands, a runner skin will set you back 1120 LUX. Except you couldn’t get exactly 1120 LUX in the game’s store, you could only get 1100, which cost $10, and the next cheapest lot of LUX is $5 for 500 of the stuff.

I have a feeling there’s a huge overlap between the people who complain about Chinese food and the people who raved about the Mississippi pot roast viral recipe (which has two packets of MSG-loaded seasonings in it).
It’s psychosomatic. MSG is also in tomatoes, mushrooms, and tons of savory salted snacks such as Doritos. None of those tend to trigger the symptoms people claim to have after eating Chinese food.

It’s the RPS curse. It was started back when games journalism was dominated by insipid corporate writeups and they wanted to prove that allowing writers to inject a bit of personality into their work wouldn’t do any harm.
The sterile, personality-less writing the RPS founders fought against is mostly dead now and the original RPS staff have long since left, but their successors still try to ape their writing style with a fraction of the wit and talent. They mostly blindly reuse old inside jokes and go off on useless tangents rather than add anything truly clever.
Called them “dumb fucks” for trusting him with their personal information, no less.

The most worrying part is he didn’t include Fallout 4 (which took the simplification of RPG systems to dizzying new heights) in the list of games that felt like a departure from their style, but instead called it one of their classics.
The first ten to fifteen levels look like they’d be tedious to replay after every death. Maybe have them only occur the first run per play session and the timer/restart point begins after that?
Or “I asked the AI to change a feature and it deleted everything instead, how do I fix this?”.
I doubt users asking AI to do everything for them will know about git and proper backup habits.
He wrote himself into a corner with his villain being too powerful and well-prepared to defeat and wanted ideas on how to fix it, but he was incapable of admitting he screwed up. So instead he told the readers they had to “guess” his plan (read: come up with one for him), and even threatened to give the story a bad end if they didn’t. It was utterly transparent but his fanbase ate it up.
Is the other 50% smugness and delusions of grandeur?
I love how unexpectedly complex some classes are.
Like the Ranger, which mashes together a half dozen different playstyles but balances it by being mediocre at most of them.
Or the Druid, which mashes together a half dozen different playstyles and doesn’t bother to balance them whatsoever (to quote Order of the Stick: “I have class features more powerful than your entire class”).
