For me it was Monster Hunter World. I’d be lying in bed and on my head I was just going through the motions of fighting a monster, complete with the button combinations and all.

Bonus: when I started learning programming I was at an after Party at a friend’s place after a night out and was on a few things and when I closed my eyes I would see lines of code and functions etc.

I then went to the toilet after partaking in some ketamin, and I tried to solve/debug the function in my head to release urine from my bladder. Fun times!

I hope paizo will jump in and Larian will make a pathfinder game next (it’s the better system anyway)

I had my debut as a GM the last 2 months when I was running the pathfinder beginners box for a few friends of mine. l enjoyed it a lot, although it was a little bit stressful, as I’m socially anxious sometimes, but nonetheless a great experience and I’m already looking into the next campaign I want to run. Probably season of ghosts, but I’ll ask my players what they think of the setting.

Other than that I play in two other PF2E games and really enjoy my characters, although I could work a bit on speaking in character

Have you tried magic mushrooms? I’m on no way saying that it’s a cure-all, but a good friend of mine has cluster headaches (also called suicide headaches) seasonally, and before she had to take an extremely pricey drug, that did only help shortly, but now she self medicated with magic mushrooms and the headachee are either gone or the symptoms have receeded massively. She just takes a little bit, as she doesn’t like the psychedelic effects. Maybe it could help you too :)

This isn’t about addiction, it’s about sexuality. And you can’t just curb your whole sexuality away. These people have a disorder that makes them sexually attracted to children. At this point there is no harm done yet. They just are doomed to live a very unfulfilling life, because the people with whom they want to engage in sexual practices can’t give their consent, which is morally and legally required, no question about that. And most of them don’t give in to these urges and seek the help they need.

But still, you can’t just meditate your whole sexuality away. I don’t want to assume, but I bet you also masturbate or pleasure yourself in one way or another, I know I do. And when I was young, fantasy was all I needed, but then I saw my first nude and watched my first porno and it progressed from there, and I’m sure fantasy won’t be enough for these people as well. So when they get to the stage where they want to consume media, I prefer it to be AI created images or some drawn hentai of a naked young girl or whatever, and not real abused children.

Hear me out on this one:

If we take it as given that pedophilia is a disorder and ultimatly a sickness, wouldn’t it be better that these people get their fix from AI created media than from the real thing?

IMO there was no harm done to any kid in the creation of this and it would be better to give these people the fix they need or at least desperately desire in this way before they advance to more desperate and harmful measures.

Sure! It’s an app/game you download which uses the Roms of the different games to enable you to play Pokemon online with other players, but you don’t have to engage with them. You can also choose to just play each game as if you were offline and then transition into a new region after the top four, while having access to your pokemon from the old region. I play Pokemon via PokeMMo and I urge you to check it out! It’s available for desktop, mac, Android and iOS. You just need the roms of the games you want to play and then you create your character and choose your starting region.

I have a very limited understanding of game development, but isn’t it as easy as checking which characters/players are currently participating in a conversation, be it actively or just listening, and then allowing the player(s) to choose a characters stat for a given skill check?

It might have to be limited to stuff like investigating, arcana checks, athletics checks, etc. and not include conversation relevant checks, like intimidation, persuasion, and deception
