I’ve been using mine since Christmas
It’s amazing how capable this thing is with such a tiny screen
From Digg to Reddit to Lemmy
I’ve been using mine since Christmas
It’s amazing how capable this thing is with such a tiny screen
Is it possible for Israel to push this too far for the US to keep backing them?
It’s blatant genocide now, not the insidious apartheid genocide they’ve been doing for decades
Well, that was a twist ending.
I route all my sensitive chatting to personal texts to avoid the scenario you and your coworkers encountered
I hope someone leaked a few of these obit headlines to old Henry before he died
Screw all that “assistance” gear. My car ('17 GTI) auto braked for some leaves the other day while I was travelling 120kph
Luckily there wasn’t anyone right behind me
The point of their life is to collect all the wealth “they deserve” from plebes that will never rise to their level because, in their mind, these people don’t work hard enough
On Thursday, Sewell told the court that he would be “very happy with a fine” and asked the court not to impose a conviction.
It’s almost like the court is encouraging their violence
Sickening
The UN, even the US won’t do anything.
Remember Israel ran a US citizen (Rachael Corrie) over with an armoured bulldozer and attacked a US warship (USS Liberty) suffering zero consequences both times
Yeah, that’s what the article is saying should be done by other countries
Right on. I’ve heard these can be a nightmare to maintain - I hope yours stays trouble-free
The big screen could definitely be helpful if multiple people at the table are looking at it during the proceedings
I can’t quite follow this:
Esther Jenke also told the Times that finances played a role in her decision to renounce her citizenship.
“My husband and I bought a house. If we sell the house, even though it is our primary residence, because from a US perspective it’s foreign property, we would have to pay capital gains tax on it,” Jenke told the Times.
The 1st part says that there is a financial reason to renounce your citizenship, but the 2nd part makes it seem like they’ll pay capital gains on the house, specifically because they renounced their citizenship
As mentioned in another thread, there is a paintless dent repair video on YT of a fix done to the corner of a Rivian rear bumper
The owner claimed that he was quoted $41K. To do the work, they would need to cut the body all the way up to the front of the roof
The PDR fix was close to perfect in this case
Good to hear it’s decent. The more competitors in the mid-price EV market, the better
I would suggest we defer what the middle ground or success factors look like to the people running and studying programs like this
Beyond individual success, a certain amount spent to help people off the streets helps a lot of other people too.
And it’s not like sleeping out in the elements doesn’t have costs to the towns with homeless people. Healthcare still needs to be given to people living out in the elements. And security needs and expenditures increase as well.
How would it not produce growth? Pretty much guaranteed that 100% of this money is spent back into the economy vs hoarded in investments
So self-selected indentured servitude for the poor classes
Medicine Hat, AB realized that without stable shelter, it’s nearly impossible to kick an addiction
Their program of trying to help people get off the street first looks like the most viable option to ending homelessness
Israel had hours of notice of the drones and rockets. Iran’s parade is just a showing of things and people that will be destroyed if they get into a true head-on war with Israel
Of course, the regular Iranian people, many who have no love for the regime, get to pay this price as well
