For those looking to get into the IT space, this doesn’t seem very promising.
Has anyone else on the ground felt the impacts of these layoffs?
It would be interesting to see this not including infant mortality.
From my understanding that is where most of the “life gain” in graphs like this have come from.
A graph of how much older people are living would be better represented “ignoring” for lack of a better word the babies dying
Three screens billed as “business expense” actually used as a sim racing rig.
But you will end up filling any screen space you have. When coding I very quickly fill out the space, to see files and folders I am intereacting with, communication apps, websites, IDE, ticket screen. Some days I wish I had 4.
Taking your keyboard example. Nearly all the popular keyboards haven’t been updated in a long time. They work (more or less) and so don’t need updates.
Under your system they would get achieved and new users wouldn’t see them.
How does your idea help in this situation?
I thought peoples big problem with it was not wanting to give others their number to use signal? Like I meet Joe Blog online and don’t want to give him my real number to chat.
Less people worried that signal had their number?
What about the little elephant in the room global warming?
If we continue to wait until oil is too expensive we are going to be very far down the “earth is pretty fucking hot” timeline

Stroganoff has an interesting flavour. Sometimes it is really satisfying, other times the weird flavour is off putting. Not sure I’d that is just a me thing
Is there an alternative you can recommend that you feel is more honest?
It is hard to move away from maps completely but for pure navigation there are many alternatives. From the FOSS world, there are 2 I would recommend.
Organic Maps - fairly clean and focused app mainly around navigation
OsmAnd~ - a more fleshed out map app. Easily see hiking routes, ski routes, etc. This is the one I am trying to use at the moment.
Still doesn’t help solve the google review for restraunts and shops etc, but it is a step in the right direction.
I’m the opposite. I prefer a pale ale over an IPA, but recently I found hoppy larger and it is great. I find straight larger so tasteless most of the time.
Though if I am only drinking 1 or 2 beers for the night then I would choose a dark beer.
How does it differ from endless sky?
That beautiful, simple, and works well. Cheers for the share
Sexy weather app. Thanks for the follow up comment. No more ads when I want to check the weather.
Worth noting my youtube premium subscription price hasn’t changed since I signed up in 2017.
If I cancel this deal I have and go to sign up again, or change to a family plan then the price goes up.
I’m not sure if this is the norm, or a special part of the deal I got but just a bit of extra info
Usually I have come across this with poorly done DLCs. They offer some bonus item in game.
So if you buy the game with all the DLC in a sale then when you start the game you have all this extra stuff you wouldn’t normally have. I can’t recall the game but there was one game where I actively had to not use the DLC items otherwise the first part of the was way too easy and bordering on boring.
