Why get legal experts to weight in on this? That assumes he is listening to his counsel which we all know he is not. Need a phycologist to weight in on this instead to make any sense of it. I don’t think his delusional narcissistic ass has the capacity to realize he is going to lose, but I’m not a legal expert or psychologist.

Can I just volunteer to live in the state primarily populated by cows? That sounds wonderful. Cows make better neighbors then most people. Maybe I can vote a cow in as our state representative.

News organizations are typically issued seapenas for specific information because just raiding them and going through everything can reveal sources for unrelated stories. News organizations should have the ability to protect confidential sources if needed. Reason people are saying unconstitutional is because first amendment protects speech and freedom of press.

At least that’s how I understand it but I am not a lawyer.

Thanks for the further explanation. I’m curious how this is handled if products that are banned in California are mailed there from other states. For instance I recently ordered a plexiglass glue and read that if I was a resident of California they would not mail it there due to a chemical in the glue being banned in California. I’m not a lawyer obviously but to me this seems like a very similar legal situation.

Could you explain this further? I’m genuinely curious to know more.

Somewhat related, during my time working in an ER, we had a dedicated family viewing room where grieving families could gather after a loved one’s passing. On one occasion, a young man arrived as a suspected overdose. One of the nurses, seeing his youth, went above and beyond to make him appear more dignified before the family’s arrival, even propping up the head of his bed. When I came in to bag the body for transport after they had all left, lowering the head of the bed caused his legs to flop into the air. You can imagine how challenging it was to fit a body into a body bag when it’s shaped like an L.

But guys, just imagine what that’s going to do for us when it starts to trickle down… like any minute now…

That’s a very different case. Read the actual article. That guy broke a window and was reaching in to try and unlock the door at 3am. The whole thing was caught on a surveillance camera. I think they made the right choice not charging the home owner if those reported facts are accurate.

I feel like we should all make accounts on true social to triple dog dare him to ignore the lawyers, and do the press conference. I’ll pop the popcorn.
