I love your take. As a business major and professional I fully understand the need to make money. But I won’t be defend any action of reddit’s upper management in the past month.
To think they could’ve charged a reasonable price for API access… Reddit would’ve surely made a good amount instead of driving users away.

It’s a great way to kickstart this place! I found my way to malicious compliance solely because I wanted to see what the subreddits were getting up to without opening the official reddit app.
