Yeah I am. I know there’s a way to filter out keywords and I’d do that but I would still like to hear of any major developments. I just don’t want to hear the same stories repeated over and over again

Just 100x better than Canadian public transport :'). We just built an LRT line in Ottawa and it’s down more often than it’s working. It has cost the city ridiculous amounts of money to fix it even though it’s brand new

I assume for Meta’s platform they’d just get defederated very quickly from others. I think it actually could be a good thing in regards to introducing average users to the fediverse (I say this as someone who despises Meta)

Beehaw is defederating from sh.itjustwor.ks and Lemmy.world.Personally I think it’s silly to be upset over it considering defederation is one of the selling points of Lemmy.

Beehaw is just going for a more curated experience which I think is completely fine. I’m sure once they have more moderators they’ll consider refederating anyway.
