Have you been checked for sleep apnea?
McDonald’s is franchised. We have a dope ass one down the road from me where honestly I can’t remember the last time I waited longer than 5 minutes. Without line maybe 2.
There’s one across town that’s garbage for wait times. They are owned by different people.
Frankly, if I knew I had to wait ten minutes for a chicken sandwich I’d just find a local bar & grill and have a cold one with it.
For-profit medical care.
I’m trying to imagine having any part of my identity tied to an object.
You guys don’t have eSIM yet?
How do you process information best? Some writers have elaborate timelines of their character arcs drawn out on paper, while some have a spreadsheet of character info, and others just write what comes to mind and edit as they go.
When I ask you what your favorite movie is, what do you consider to pare the list down? Is that answer influenced by me at all? If the answer to that is yes, do you actually have ideas but your brain won’t let you believe they are creative because you think others would react negatively?
Maybe you should write a very short story and post it online for feedback as a first exploratory step. I think you can do it. If all else fails just sit down and start typing your comic book. Nobody has to see it.
Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. I read it every 5 years or so. A quick read that changed my perspective on suffering and seeking truth.
I tried to bike to work. Do you have any idea how bad people are at driving now? That’s if they’re not on their phones. Good for you if your area has a better situation for bikes or you just really need to almost die every day to feel alive, I got a carpool I’ll stick to for now.
We have a group chat going that’s been pretty successful. My brother left Facebook first and that made it easier for me.
There’s just one thing we can’t figure out. How the hell did you get all those birds to wear jeans?
If cabbage will grow there: grow a bunch and make a really dope national dish out of it. I then create a network of people in every other country in the world and brutally enforce the secrecy of the recipe.
The entire world craves the cabbage dish. We have the cabbage dish and will kill you for making it.
I am eventually accused of high cabbage crimes by American sympathizers inside my ranks and deposed.
America takes over and immediately attempts to monetize the cabbage dish with tourism.
Capitalists cut costs far enough that the dish is no longer fire. People bore of it. America pulls out of the country citing mission accomplished.
If the country can’t grow cabbage: I wouldn’t have invaded it.
One must imagine Sisyphus happy
Midwest water to ocean water: ope, just gonna squeeze past ya here.
I dealt with feeling like this for a long while. What helped me was trying to make everyone I interacted with a little happier for having seen me.
The actual advice: people want to talk about themselves. Prompt them to, then remember a detail to ask about next time.
It’s not that easy, but it is pretty simple. Your brain will try to make it seem hard. It’s literally just showing interest in others, and it’s simple and don’t let your brain make it complicated.
Now go draw the rest of the owl.
Bankruptcy isn’t a get out of debt free card. It’s a “you’re gonna sell this stuff to pay off your creditors” card.
His sons were involved in the lawsuit and cannot legally do business in New York.
I put a silicone case on my 13 pro the day I got it and I took it off today when I dropped it at the Verizon store. Does it look fancy? Nope. Is it overpriced? Yep. Does it fit like the people who designed my phone made it? Yep. That works for me, might not for everyone, but I don’t need it to. Just adding my experience.

Casual: check Clark’s desert chukkas, timberland 6”, red wing heritage, Thursday boots, blundstones, Jim greens.
Haven’t owned them all but I have spent a lot of time researching boots for comfort since I’m a big dude on his feet all day. Currently have traction tread lite 6” red wings steel toe for work. Going on 7 months, swapped insoles twice (I like walk hero from amazon for arch support, $20.), and they feel better every day. Seriously worth it in my opinion.
They have a new device that you wear on your neck that electronically stimulates you to prevent apnea. Might be worth looking into. I’m not an expert though.
