  • I’m in a similar boat with the deleting old accounts and not leaving sensitive material in vulnerable access. I started my privacy journey after learning how much more invasive social media platforms really are, beyond the content you do or don’t upload. Keyboard tracing, tracking other apps on your device, tilt/motion sensors, tiktok’s famous “biometric data” mining that even they can’t seem to explain, and probably even worse than that goes far beyond protecting sensitive files, at least for me. On my end, I especially enjoy finding open-source services/products from freelance creators for cheap or even free and supporting the development of small businesses in some way. In the end, there is no real way to be completely private, only more or less private and I suppose it’s up to individual comfort zones for the most part. I’d say do what’s most comfortable and efficient for you and if that means not caring too much about it then that’s a valid option too 👍
