I just did this the other day. For figure c you’ll see sign in options. With that you have the option for domain join. Do that and it simply runs you through creating a local user. No domain join or MS account needed.

I’m fine with that personally, it takes a lot of hours to develop features. They have to make money somehow if they want to make it more than just a side project. Jellyfin last I played (1-2 years ago) with wasn’t where Emby much less Plex is. Missing a lot of features I grew dependant on. Been itching to try it again since Jellyfin January on the Self Hosted podcast tho.
It’s ok if you prefix with and # IF it’s not selectable. It should only be a visual reference for those who know and only helps keep your documentation complete.
A good middle ground is emby. I’ve been using it for a couple years now and it’s been solid.
Because the joystick caused the controllers to keep drifting off the table. They decided to go retro after that so they didn’t have to deal with joycon drift with absolute surety. CT scans are not cheap to run when you keep having to redo them when the drift happens.
