Flatpak is NOT a distro, but that’s what Steam reports when it’s running on Flatpak, and Flatpak being distro independent we report it as a separate environment, if that makes sense. Feel free to ignore it if you wish.

I like to imagine they stumbled upon it like The Goonies.

Anyone with some experience in both LibreOffice and Collabora?
Since Collabora is based off LO, I’m curious why users would prefer one over the other. Any killer features missing from either? Is Collabora just a nice coat of paint?

To anyone thinking this is “not such a big deal”:
Consider this is one of the most valuable, influential companies on the planet. They’re pushing Copilot like their bottom line depends on it.
Not only did Copilot give an objectively incorrect response - and bring into question the fundamental usefulness of the feature - I think what’s being glossed over is: They published this.
For a company that’s so desperate to push a clearly half-baked, unwanted feature - publishing an ad showing it malfunctioning is hilariously inept. It’s not just a bad look for the product, it’s an embarrassment for the company.

I can dig that. Just like how I have no intention of building / buying this model, but the progress towards something I’ve been pining for is exciting.

I haven’t. More than anything I’m supporting the idea of something like this. Little clamshell ereader that’s not tied to a company? Hell yeah. Version 0.01 here might not be what I’m lusting after, but it’s that much closer to Version 2.0.

I’m a huge fan of this idea. Having a light clamshell device for reading means the formatting would be (should be, might be) closer to that of a physical book. With most books I don’t think that matters, but there are tons where the author plays with page formatting & typography and it rarely comes off well in a single-screen ereader.
Additionally - clamshell means built-in screen protection. I’ve never liked those stick-on 3rd party screen protector sheets, and a clamshell design is going to do a better job of protecting the screen anyway. Something like this you can snap it closed and chuck it in a bag without worrying.

Waiting patiently for the “Minions” crossover set.

A similar case occurred years ago, but it was less well documented. The primatologist notes that they can only speculate about the motives: “Why doesn’t infanticide occur within the group among bonobos? Because this is what happens if a male tries it.”

Charlie Kirk was shot on the campus of Utah Valley University while being engaged in a dialogue with an audience member. In the wake of this terrible shooting, I lost sleep. Frankly, I would have used my body to stop the bullet on its path to kill a young father and husband like Charlie at age 31. There is so much more that Charlie could have done if he had lived to his full potential .
Author spent the first few paragraphs talking about aliens, and then drops this drivel. I’m done feeling sorry for fascists. I will never lose sleep over the death of someone who’s made it their career to inspire hate and division. It’s absurd to call what he did “dialogue”. At no point was he arguing in good faith. He thrived on straw man arguments and racism.
Nothing of value was lost, and I hope his family is ashamed of the monster they raised. The world is a better place without him.

In case anyone’s wondering - Yes, this is the sort of censorship that’s common in authoritarian governments.

No remorse. Good shot.

Abandon ship!!

It’s for training -
However, these planes will largely be used for transatlantic flights, and that requires extra training compared to non-transatlantic operations. So American is operating these flights so that check airmen (basically American pilots who train and certify other pilots) can get their qualifications, and in turn, can certify a bunch of other pilots to fly this plane.

Mmmmmm, taking the jobs only to turn around and sell 'em back? Fuck that’s some tasty capitalism.

You’d have to be entirely brainless to look at this landscape and think your hard work is going to “pay off” in any significant way.
That “hard work” gets milked at every job. Your “hard work” is just “meets expectations” on your quarterly review and that’s why you won’t see a cost of living raise this year. Maybe if you work harder next year? And don’t take any time off?
And then you see the billionaire class spending more money with a wave of their hand than you’ll ever see in your life. More than your entire community could pool together in your collective lifetimes. The billionaires didn’t “work hard” for it. They were born into it. Then you’ll see that massive waste of money implode at the bottom of the sea and wonder why people go hungry.
If you’re going to work hard - make sure it’s for yourself / someone you care about. Employers are here to take advantage of you.
Anyone want to ELI5 what’s so slick about Cachy?
I likes my Debian. Look at that graph. Steady as rock.
