No. Google helps you search the web. It’s up to you to look for trustworthy sources but that’s not too hard. Just sticking to Wikipedia is fine most of the time.
But that involves reading and this may prove challenging to some.

There’s always been crazy and stupid people. And then we gave them the internet to connect and to have a voice. Now they feed of each other’s crazynies and believe they run the world.
Only way to fight this is education. Give people the ability to see through crazy. You’re not born with common sense. It’s taught and learned.

I like the old shows more because everyone acts appropriately to their rank and station. In the new shows a captain can go like “fuck this ima go punch someone and act super emotional and irrational” because that’s what a star fleet captain or anyone star fleet would actually do.

My point was it’s a myth that MacOS is simple or efficient. Basic stuff is either overly complicated or straight up impossible.

I was complaining about MacOS and you brought up Linux for some reason. I am aware I can do anything on Linux I can on Windows. I’ve used it briefly from time to time and it has a very windows-like work flow for basic stuff. MacOS doesn’t.
Linux isn’t MacOS.
I’ve been using windows PCs for 25 years and struggle with the damn Mac at work. The usability of the thing is just utter garbage. Nothing is better but everything is different just… because. I’ve wasted so much time learning the fucking thing and still nothing just works.

I don’t know why Apple hates a proper Taskbar. I miss it everytime I struggle to find one of my open applications. Which is always.

They could be handing those out for free and they’d still rot on the shelves. People just don’t know what to do with them and I am not certain Amazon does.

This. If you don’t need a laptop for anything in particular, get a desktop pc. Performance will be way better and you can easily upgrade it later on.
A good monitor beats whatever you can do with a laptop any day. No gaming laptop can come close to a nice 24" or bigger screen.
Only if the people using it are making it into one. I am looking at no one in particular…
