Damnit Christopher, why you gotta be all misogynist?
You can get a STEM degree from a state school, or a private institution. Often the private institution is more prestigious, (e.g. Harvard, MIT) but there are plenty of state schools with good reps (Cal Poly).
They fundamentally solve the Topo-Naming-Problem I propose to try again after the next release.
Are they settled on an assembly workbench yet?
They can be even more complicated

I wouldn’t go that far. Heretics and Chapter-house are… not great, but they are nowhere near as bad as Kevin J Anderson’s crap writing.
The the recommissioned officer who was the teacher was just combining two completely different characters from the book.
Why do the bugs have limited interstellar capabilities?
The movie definitely takes some of the fascist ideas from the books and amplifies them effectively. I think Heinlein was really asking a what if in the original book, similar to a lot of his other (also, ‘problematic’) work.
None of this implies a false flag.
If they wanted to amp up the fascism they could have used the opening of the book which was nuking the ‘skinnies’ a bug ally.
Its been a while since I saw the movie, and I think I get it mixed up with the book sometimes. Was there something in the movie itself that even hints that it was a false flag?
Dune is one of my favorite books. Herbert is clear on this, Paul is exploiting the fremen. The Bene Geserat planted the savior myth. Their goals align, mostly, but he can’t really control them, just aim them and pull the trigger.
Also three body problem series is a slog. Character development is not great. He pulls the plug on the main baddie too early and installs a characature of america bad at the end. Second book has one idea.
that would make someone a real bastard…
