This game came out in 2017. It’s in my Steam library right now. Not sure what this article is trying to say or what Bigmode’s involvement is with the game, but it’s certainly not a new game.
Edit: So the game was originally called Monolith and it’s being released again with a new name and publisher. This article completely failed to mention this important detail, instead making it sound like a brand new game.

Call me paranoid, but it feels like local storage is being slowly phased out. First they remove SD card slots, next we won’t be allowed to store any data at all locally. Cloud and streaming everything.

Yep, it’s an IPS monitor. I think your comment is right on the money. I noticed it starting to fade shortly after I posted. I’m just surprised how quickly it happened. I’ve had UI elements static on screen for hours with nothing noticeable. I suspect it has to do with the way the vehicles “vibrate” in this game. The constant switching on and off of that part of the display could have made it happen faster.
Sorry I should have been more clear. When opening a posted image, I won’t be able to pinch to zoom or double tap to zoom. Swiping to close the image won’t work either. I have to tap to close then reopen and everything works like normal. Again it only happens rarely and I can’t cause it to happen on purpose. No idea what causes it.
Sometimes images don’t allow me to resize them. Closing and reopening the image fixes it, but I don’t know what causes it initially. More a minor annoyance than anything, but I still wanted to bring attention to it since I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere.
More built-in repositories and a nicer UI.
They aggressively fight against ad blockers and shame people who use them while refusing to vet said ads beforehand. They should be treated the same as any pervert exposing themselves to kids on the street. I see little difference between the two.
