I’d be interested in reading that. Do you have a link to the article?
I would say 99.9% of people are still on Reddit. I mainly use Lemmy to get the bigger news stuff and the gaming community is pretty active here too. Also I use Lemmy on mobile only really since the Reddit app is still terrible.
If I want to read about one of my other interests I’ll go to the specific subreddit on my desktop browser and use old Reddit but with no account since I deleted mine a few months ago. Sometimes I’ll post or comment on one of those smaller communities here but I don’t want to be someone who posts tons of things to a community. Too much work for me.
Hopefully the user base and engagement will grow over the next few years. Welcome to being an early adopter!
I’m so hyped for this! The trailer really got me to be honest. The vehicles (different coloured chocobos?!, a segue), the new party combo moves building off of intergrade, and the fact we don’t know where this story will go but still got tons of callbacks. It just seems like it’s going to be a lot of fun
I can’t wait for this game to finish being updated so I can play it. I always regretted playing Witcher 3 before the dlcs came out. I would like to play them some day but I feel like I’d need to replay the entire game again to get used to the controls and remember the story. I just don’t have enough free time to dedicate to that when there are other newer games I’d rather play instead.
This will be a day 1 purchase for me once it’s out of early access. I loved the first one but still don’t plan on playing the game until it’s done. So hopefully 2025 will be when it releases for me!
And I was just about to buy 13 sentinels. Nice!
This should be the top answer. I’m also a person that can’t really enjoy a game unless it has a good story and Disco Elysium blew me away. The best game to come out since 2019 as far as I’m concerned
I’ve been watching all their episode breakdowns on their other channel FourStarBento. All the creators are so passionate about the show still and I’m really enjoying learning about all the little details in the abridged series. To be honest I was kind of hoping that at the end of it they would finish with a “We’re doing Buu!!!” but this is nice too. I still wish we could get an entire season though
Wonder what the dlc will be about?
I have a few ideas but don’t want to put spoilers here.
If this is a continuation of the main story then I don’t mind but if this is just content placed in the middle of the story like FF 15 then I don’t know why I keep buying games on launch just to get a partially complete experience.
Let’s hope the difficulty of this dlc is also higher. I felt like in the main game Clive melted any non boss enemies after the halfway point of the game
Thanks for sharing the link!
Hmmm, maybe it’s possible but I think I’d rather not risk taking a two month break from the game. Guess I’ll need to wait till I have more free time
Anyone know how long this game takes on average to beat? I have about two weeks of free time but then I won’t have much time for gaming for around 2 months so wondering if I can fit this in or not?
It’s good and bad. I miss most of the niche communities that I frequented on Reddit but on the other side I am commenting and interacting on Lemmy much more than reddit. It feels good to have some discussion. Hopefully the niche communities I miss will grow in time. Another good thing is that since Lemmy is much smaller than Reddit I’ll run out of new content quickly and go do something else instead. So now I’m not mindlessly scrolling for ages. I am noticing that since this is such a small community with a very specific group of people that use it (left leaning/tech) that it generally has much less diverse content and memes compared to Reddit. This matters more on Lemmy since most of the content is focused on broad appealing things compared to Reddit which had bigger niche communities.
I’ve heard of Tezuka but never read any of his works. I have heard of the ones you listed though (except the Adolf one).
You said they’re decent? Do you think they’re worth reading today? I always imagined the stories in these to be pretty simple and mostly aimed at children
Thanks! Looks pretty active. I wonder why their are so few subscribers?
Does anyone know if there’s an active One Piece community on Lemmy? I’m subscribed to one but it seems dead. It’s one of the few things I still go back to Reddit for
Sorry, didn’t mean anything bad by it. I haven’t played a Ratchet and Clank game since the ps2 so I’m not too sure what the series is like now? I thought that this game would be more geared toward families or kids? Doesn’t mean other people can’t enjoy it too of course. I enjoy plenty of media that would be intended for a younger audience
I don’t think there was any big desire for this on PC? At least compared to other Sony exclusives like God of War or Final Fantasy XVI. Also since it’s a game aimed at kids I would say they have a bigger user base on PS5. Kids on PC are more likely to play Roblox, Fortnite or other free to play games I guess?
True, god Endwalker was so good
I use Mlem. It’s an open source app that’s native for iOS. I’d recommend it !mlemapp@lemmy.ml
