It should be sure. But that’s not our reality. Even if you take away monetary value things still hold more practical value. Try collecting and making food for 20 people. Go outside and find all that or grow it or whatever you have to do to get it tell me how long it’s you and how difficult it was to do. Now multiply that effort to 8 billion people.

I really don’t think you understand how many people are in this world. Sure grocery stores donating food instead of throwing it away would help some. But providing good quality food to 8 billion people is not possible. Imo.

We can provide shitty cheap unhealthy food to everyone sure. It wouldn’t be easy but yeah we could probably do that. But we absolutely would not be able to give people the kind of food they actually need.

I would love to live in a society where robots over produce everything. Unfortunately that isn’t our reality.

You need to consume to live. This means you need to manipulate your surroundings in order to survive. So you need to work to have your basic needs meet. You don’t just get to live with zero effort.

I’ve always said that it’s bullshit that those meals were so cheap in the first place. Their lobbyists paid off a bunch of politicians to make it so cheap. It shouldn’t have ever been as cheap as it was. That food is terrible for you in every way. It’ll probably be good for a lot of people to stop eating it so much. So i see this as a win win.

Imo the reason pvp got so little attention is because of how poorly it was implemented. They could do it right and I bet it would be a lot more popular. But you’re probably right about me not being their target audience anymore.

I’m someone who started playing 76 from the beta. I disagree with you. I think 76 is now an endless pinata. All they mostly add are stuff to unlock and events every once in a while then they repeat them a million times a year. I wanted more missions and I really wish they would bring back survival mode but make it better balance the pvp make base building work so you actually need to defend your base it would even be cool if you could steal from other players once you cracked open their base it something. I really don’t care very much for the endless seasons they decided to go with.

It’s a totally different kind of game. No real point in comparing the 2.

I’m around 200 hours and I’m running into the same thing. I really love the game but you can’t just go on random adventures like you could in other Bethesda games. I’m really waiting till survival mode. I really wish I needed to care about fuel or food or the atmosphere of the planet or something. But as of now I can teleport to anywhere with basically zero resistance playing on the hardest difficulty still the game is very very easy. I thought the main missions were some of Bethesda’s best ever. But man just playing the game there aren’t those little random adventures you could go on like other Bethesda games. I’m sure once the mod tools release and we get a dlc I’ll come back but as for now there isn’t much reason to return.

The original mercenaries from PS2. If we had a fully destructible environment with today’s graphics god it would be glorious. If they could throw some co op in there. Man it would be great.

I haven’t gotten it set up yet. But I thought it would be worth it to set up a fabricator to make components to sell. The components sell for a decent amount and if you can a couple out posts gathering materials and making components I bet you could make a ton of money pretty quickly.
