  • Consumables can be handy if you know a big persuasion is coming. I just check how many “points” it takes too convince the npc and don’t take any unnecessary risks. I’ve done a quest line pretty early on that unlock me the manipulation skill early. It gives you an additionnal choice sometimes with safe-ish big points. There’s also a skill to unlock the choice to bribe I think. didn’t invest in it (i want money!) but it is still a possibility.

  • I think the persuasion skill is really useful through out the gameplay, espacially at the beginning. you can gain time and save ammo. Security and wealth were useful to have. A point in boost pack is fun too. I did not invest in exploring or crafting since I didn’t engage much in them. Later, investing in pure DPS was profitable too (ballisitc/energy, pistol/rifle, etc). If ship building is your thing, piloting and ship design later on is also nice.

  • I first started one mission of stealth with the apparel they give us with the bonus stealth. NPCs were spotting me through grilled vent in the ceiling and they were VERY motivated to search for me for an eternity (I craved for a: “it must be the wind” line). I did it with 1 point in, it wasn’t easy but less of a pain and NPCs could abandon the search with a nice “He got away”. I still saved a bunch and repeat some sections for this one. I think the last mission or second to last I just given up and change status from detected to danger and undected again in repeat.

  • I did this questline fairly early in my first playthrough. I wanted money fast to pay my house so I figured, why not start in the greediest city! I struggled so much without any points in stealth doing those missions as they wanted. I ended up taking a break and doing something else for a while and I checked how many more missions there was (a lot…). Aside from that I had a ton of fun, good opportunity too level up my persuasion.

  • For less loading screens: fromthe surface of planet on foot, open you quest menu and place the cursor of your quest. On PC press R to planned your trip. Press X to travel and Bam! There’s a loading screen and Bam! you are on the surface of the other planet on foot. without other loading screen or ship animation. If you are already in space, you can’t escape some of those loading screen.

The other points: I feel you… ennemies are sponges. I carry way too many weapons to ensure to have bullets. Stealth is meh until you invest points in it. Ennemies were seeing me near the ceiling through a vent grid -_-.

Hope it helps, I had tons of fun with Cyberpunk! I wish an amazing DLC!
