tbh there’s so many great games at this point, I feel like 60% feels healthy enough. Like classic books.

I am not super well-researched on this, so I might be mistaken, but their market is people who don’t have access to telecom infrastructure, no? I guess it’s not an edge-case just because there are that many people without access? Because I don’t see how they’d be able to compete on price/value with traditional internet providers.

So I don’t really like the idea of defending anything related to Musk, but it’s kind of poor form to compare emissions between Starlink and land-based internet imo. Although they are the same product, they are targeted at completely different users, from what I understand.

Starlink should always be a more expensive and slower technology just because of communication distance, so it shouldnt really be able to compete with land-based solutions (except where telecom is reeeeeally fucking people on price). Starlink is really meant more for edge-cases where telecorps refuse to build infrastructure.

Currently, my personal system for storing photos is just a folder with a file-naming system, unfortunately. 🥲. But depending on how you view your filesystem, maybe a finder app or a photo-viewing app is what you’re looking for?

Proximity/price and community. Anything in SF proper is going to be, at minimum, 2-3x more expensive. To get this kind of price, you’d need to commute from outside the city.

Re community, the people that live at this kind of place are generally grinding super hard in the tech industry. So trying to live with like-minded workaholics in the same stage of life.

It has changed yupyup. Used to be that you couldn’t do this, because play store and services wouldn’t run on the OS. Now you can.

Seems cleaner, but similar to the kind of places I lived while getting into tech in SF (maybe ~8 months total)… I have some pretty interesting stories from that time lol.
