Average peasant has 4 hp. Max average strike of a dagger does 4 damage. Even if it doesn’t strike a vital area, if you get a full, solid, clean hit with that blade, they dead.
If you crit, i.e. hit a vital spot. They definitely dead and the 8inch blade might even take out a tougher boy.
Damage is supposed to imply how effective the strike is on a hit. A 1 is a decent slice or puncture. Possible stitches, not guaranteed. 2 damage? That’s a good shank. Stitches recommended, gonna need some medical attention, picture getting stabbed in the hand or getting a slice across the arm or leg. 3 damage? That person is WOUNDED they won’t keep fighting if it isn’t life or death picture a meaty stab to the bicep or shoulder or side, nowhere critical, but you know you can’t take another hit. And 4 is death.

Hello! Resident Genderfluid person here. Usually you can just ask their name and that works to get them to give you the greeting they like. They look like a James, but give you the name Samantha? Probably safe to use she/her unless doing so has them ask you to use something else. IRL, at least.
Online? It’s usually in a bio or they will tell you if it is functionally relevant. The only people I (anecdotally) have seen devolve into scree when accidentally misgendered were people trying to start something or acting for the sake of poisoning the well.
As far as using non conventional pronouns irl, you probably haven’t heard it since it is genuinely dangerous to be outed in a lot of places. Look up gay/trans panic laws. It’s dangerous to be queer in America with Conservatives having so much sway right now.

Working from home is legitimately amazing. My bud oes not need to sit at your desk with your lame chair and keyboard. He has a much faster pc at home with the big clicky-clackies. Ten hour work day? He will bring that shizz down to 6-8 with the same productivity and can play games on the side.
I get that it doesn’t work for everyone, especially those with task management issues, but out of the 40 people I know, 2 do better in an office.
