I see lots of people here who do community organizing and vague post about it so I’m not sure what you mean. I would not recommend anyone to post more detailed about their organizing because sadly it’s not very safe to do that.

The fascist opposition in the Dutch parliament will be historically big and diverse, with at least 3 flavours of large openly fascist parties. I think they are all extremely excited for the upcoming 4 years of shit stirring until they win big next election.

The Dutch have less than 4 years to prepare for a large majority fascist government but it will not be enough as the labour unions are in the hands of the elite and the growth of leftist movements has only just begun and probably requires more than 4 years to develop into actual opposition to fascism.

Something similar is happening around the Dutch election campaign where leaders of the governing parties are targeted in posters that say: “they chose genocide, will you?”. The posters are made by an ngo that is very loosely connected to a few parliamentarians of the greenleft party and everyone is losing their shit.

There’s no fix for the ghoulish look that is inherent to faces of western imperialism

Everyone has their own best learning methods so what works for me doesn’t necessarily work for you. But here’s my most general advice:

Practice + a good amount of rest so your brain actually processes what you learned during practicing. Homework assignments are usually good practice materials.

While practicing: write down all rules/methods that you forgot on a sheet so you have them all at one place and can come back to them later. Writing the rules down also makes you memorise them better.

Climbing the career ladder is what we’re taught to do from a young age and many semi leftists have blindspots on how their own lifestyle is influenced by capitalism. So it’s not necessarily something they even think about being contradictory to their beliefs.

Is this what love feels like?

It’s common to center your worldview around the oppression you personally face. Oppression often causes trauma and if the trauma’s don’t get addressed properly then they can influence every part of your life, including your worldview. Some people are really stubborn in this belief, others are easily convinced otherwise. Especially in white feminist groups this view is very common so being confronted with a different class based perspective could just be enough for her to notice her own blind spots.

Is the goal to make people feel like everyone around them could be a fed & thus that no one trusts each other?

Trans is a state of mind

It is interesting how a lack of words to describe something can make you feel like it’s impossible or weird. I can’t say how common it is but I have come across several people who described a similar sexual aromantic attraction to a subset of people.

It’s quite common to be sexually attracted to a a subset of people but not romantically. Like you can be sexually bisexual and romantically straight. Or sexually mostly straight but still sexually attracted to a very small subset of your gender.

The labels we have and use are often not sufficient to describe the wide range of possibilities in sexuality.

There’s lots of valid reasons to avoid these protests. My reason is that my disability often prevents me from going. But I still encourage my comrades to go to these protests to educate as many people as they can.

In my trans community there are a few people who avoid certain protests for safety concerns. It’s a personal consideration to decide if you feel safe enough to go. But there are always people who are willing to go and I’ll always encourage them.

It could definitely be sabotage. Leaving a message in the thread if you’re not even sure you can deliver on it does seem suspicious

I think it’s good when people who usually don’t protest go out on the streets. A lot of those people are willing to learn but even more are very stubborn in their liberal beliefs. In general it’s a good opportunity for more radical groups to reach out to a large part of the general public and teach them some things about follow up steps after the protest. It takes a lot of patience and emotional labour but it can be very fruitful.

In my country it’s somewhat common to not have a credit or US style debit card. We have our own payment system that doesn’t work well on international sites. This is why many people use paypal as it enables us to pay internationally as well.

But that doesn’t discount the fact that this person is being the opposite of helpful by making false promises and not delivering. It must be very exhausting to deal with that on a regular basis :/

Liberal zionists will claim that 300 trucks is more than enough to provide necessary humanitarian aid and thus that the extra 300 are basically a luxury so Israel is not actually withholding necessary humanitarian aid.

Zionists are obsessed with determining a minimum amount of aid necessary to prevent starvation not realising that that calculation is inhumane in itself as it treats Palestinians as livestock.

All restrictions by the zionist occupiers on goods and people that enter Gaza are illegal and immoral.

Another case of blatant admission of a war crime. Blocking humanitarian aid as a form of collective punishment.

Some of the prisoners getting exiled and not being allowed to go back to their families really breaks my heart.
