It’s not a waste if you have unusuals, stranges, or the hallowed australium frying pan!

Left for Firefox when they announced this update. I still have to use Chrome when I work in Google drive since basic functions like copy/paste don’t work in non-chrome browsers, but even without this update the minute+ time it takes for chrome to open reminds me I made the right decision.
Owners are quick to complain that labor is so expensive but will never work at their own business. “Oh but I own six restaurants, I couldn’t possibly work at each one, I have to spend my time “managing” all six!” Owning more than one business is the problem. If you want to own a business you need to work at that business. Physically.
I admit I don’t know how that looks for global megacorporations but I’m pretty sure the answer is we shouldn’t have allowed global megacorporations to exist.

You can thank Disney for that one.
He can only read surface level thoughts. Any deeper and we’d be able to tell, proving his existence, which would make faith irrelevant and lead him to disappear in a puff of logic.
Your friend has missed 4 99% shots in a row.
Only at first.
Then every version will be ad-supported.
Will also accept being turned into land critters. Just as long as they are mountain dwellers.
I laughed at the meme, but I also bought branded merch from a brewery whose beer I don’t even drink (unless I’m already drunk) because I was in their gift shop.
When I just used a browser ad blocker I made a point to unblock sites that I wanted to support and didn’t use obnoxious ads. Unfortunately for them I now use a network ad blocker too and it’s more of a hassle. One of these days I might make a list of domains to unblock but at the moment I’m more concerned with figuring out how to block YouTube ads at the domain level.
That’s great in theory, but there’s just too many people for that to be anywhere close to realistic. If we had about 20% of our current global population, then I’d agree with you, but even the worst pandemic in modern history couldn’t scratch 1%.
I disagree.
I’m waiting for Windows 12, since it’s only every other Windows OS that’s worth using.
Unfortunately with the way they’re going, W12 won’t have mouse or keyboard support and a Cortana/Copilot/Cockamamie LLM will be the only way you can interact with your computer.
You didn’t read carefully enough.
Owning an apartment building and living in one of the units and actually providing labor to contribute to the running of the apartment building (whether through maintenance or office work), perfectly ok.
It’s a really easy definition for me. Do you acquire recurring income from a residential location that you don’t personally live at? You get the French haircut.
Owning a home and having roommates that share the mortgage is fine. Putting your guest bedroom on Airbnb is fine. Owning an apartment building and living in one of the units and actually providing labor to contribute to the running of the apartment building (whether through maintenance or office work), perfectly ok.
With that being said, when it comes time for the guillotine, we’ll start with the corporate landlords to give the “mom and pop” landlords time to come to their senses.
Edit: explaining my reasoning: Passive income is theft. Owning things is not a job. Humans have a right to live by nature of being alive, profiting off of a human right is evil.
I was on time for an event that happened before noon.
The bar may be low, but for once I cleared it!

The bakers were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.
One thought is that “You” is just an unbroken string of consciousness. Which means you cease to be every time you sleep, and the person that wakes up just has the memories of being you.
Things seemed pretty good in the pre-agricultural age of hunting and gathering.
