I use FairEmail these days. It might have tag support, if it does though it’s not enabled by default. It has no AI features.
Buzzwords all the way down. They claimed that their latest model could reason, but don’t you dare question the accuracy or what’s going on under the hood.
I think the only time I’ve experienced this is when I had my phone off for weeks and still used Gmail. It spammed me on boot with tons of old email notifications.
They’re the same picture.
Whatever you do, do not get an Nvidia GPU. I’ve only ever had problems with Nvidia drivers on Linux. Meanwhile, the AMD drivers (both the ones baked into the kernel and proprietary) work nearly flawlessly.
Intel’s most recent generation of CPUs were also frying themselves and Intel (at least last I checked) were not accepting RMAs from affected customers. Something to consider for your CPU at least.
Uh, plenty of people have firepits.
My house has a fireplace but I still haven’t ever used it after living here for almost 5 years. I prefer the firepit outside if I’m gunna have a fire.
However, aren’t there still people that use this as their only heat source?
They have a doorbell: https://reolink.com/__/product/reolink-video-doorbell/
It doesn’t really get smaller than that.
That’s neat! I had no idea. However:
I’m not overly familiar with the malware situation but I doubt it’s a serious concern
The only virus I’ve ever knowingly been infected with was from a copy of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit for the PS2.
Amazon’s tech employees hired remotely during the pandemic are now stuck: they either must change everything about their lives to go into the office (mind you, they were full remote when hired) or they must find a new job in a super competitive area (made competitive by suits laying off employees elsewhere). Seriously, remote tech jobs get hundreds if not thousands of applicants per listing.
Those people are fucked.
I’m good
Why does the headline & story use megabytes for this? Especially in a report about 2023.
Both are great options, but KDE/plasma 6 is my pick.
I’m so fucking tired of the AI fad. These greedy execs can fuck off.
no thanks
Cable does this because of the inherit bandwidth restrictions it comes with, along with being able to price gouge customers to pay for faster upload. Coax (really, DOCSIS) and the related infrastructure around it simply does not have the bandwidth to offer symmetric connections, at least for companies like Comcast (yuck). They will wait until it’s absolutely necessary to upgrade their infrastructure to support faster upload. Even then, it likely will not be symmetric since there needs to be channels for TV/phone too.
Fiber has much more bandwidth, and the related infrastructure does too. That’s why it’s almost always symmetric.
I use it for powerusers like Pug as well, and then for trolls and for know it alls who like to argue. For each I use an emoji to describe my feelings towards them. So, for example “👎 Disingenuous”, or “👍 {username}”
Is there a traffic signal nearby that you could use as an example and go with that? I would look at more than one, but that’ll likely give you your answer.
I would never buy anything made by Meta, even if it was the best around.
