Whoah, that’s cool! Gonna have to try it out at some point.
I just use furnace to make covers, but it would be nice to use the actual chip at some point. Maybe there’s a stray PC98 on ebay or something lol

Both. It makes it easier to keep in touch technically, but whether or not they are responsive is a whole other story.
Oops, I think I just sent the response to myself lol. but yeah. Vine was entertaining. Tik tok just didn’t click with me.
I never said that shortform content is bad or that tik tok should be banned. I just couldn’t care less about the app because it just doesn’t have anything in particular that interests me. If it did I would be using tik tok and not lemmy lol. The comment above just kinda rubbed me the wrong way i guess.
Both lol
Lol how are they expecting to crack down on this if you can just use cell data.
Dude, some people just prefer longer form content. To each their own.
Jenkem gang where you at?
Especially when the potato laptop stops being so potato all of a sudden. It’s satisfying.
Ugh, yeah. Dual booting is such a headache lol
The best thing to do is to just jump in.Pick a distro, doesn’t matter which and just start using it.
For software just browse the Music category of pamac, discover, or whatever app-front you decide to use. There’s some really good stuff in there.
For the most part it works really well! 90% of games on steam work without any hassle and the 10% with errors have workarounds. It’s not perfect but it’s definitely getting better as time goes on, especially with more anticheats having compatibility with linux than 5 years ago. When it comes to standalone games, it can be a mixed bag because sometimes it works perfectly and other times it doesn’t, but launchers like lutris help get the games that don’t work run decently. When it comes to emulators, they work really well, sometimes better than running them on windows, but keep in mind where you’re getting them. I have less issues overall with the flatpack variants of emulators.
The Scottish are way ahead of ya. those kilts look pretty comfortable.
If you want to check what instances are federated or unfederated, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page on desktop and click on Instances. It will show a list.
Manjaro for a while. It broke a few times and then I started using Nix os, until I started using Endeavour.
gives a “people die when they are killed” energy
At that point it’s someone else’s PC in a server somewhere else. Unless it’s to make networks in business or school, I don’t really see it being used much outside of that. Especially when you could just set up your own cloud network locally.
a bit late but yeah 4 is great. Rune factory 3 is also great, but it might be a bit awkward to go back to since you’re playing 4 rn. Rune factory 1 and 2 are in a weird place to me. They’re fun for a first play through but 2 in particular has that issue where the characters don’t have much character and there is a lot of repetition. Rune factory 1 especially is still worth playing through at least once even if they’re very rough compared to the later games.
adb to remove google services, fdroid for a firefox browser, revanced manager on github to compile revanced, and once that’s done all that’s left is to install it. Maybe also export it so that you don’t have to rebuild that version again.
