I’m a little hesitant for big growth, came with the first wave of Redditors back when the news was fresh, but I’m trying to be optimistic. More people means more content, after all.

Surprisingly I haven’t ever had this happen to me. Probably just jinxed it though.
I’m liking it, and anticipating its growth – with both trepidation and excitement. It’s unpolished but I don’t mind that all too much. Trying to engage as much as I can.
In 2010, Digg updated their site to v4, and that didn’t go over well with a lot of people. Tons moved to Reddit. I wasn’t there, so this is just a very short rundown.
I also wasn’t born early enough to experience the rise of Internet forums. I was a late Reddit adopter, only jumping on in 2020. It is fascinating and exciting to be experiencing this in real time. Even if this isn’t an instant and drastic shift, it’s still a part of Internet history in the making.
