I haven’t mentioned it in this post specifically, but most of the sprites for the quest are WIP currently.
I haven’t gotten into the balancing of this region yet, so we’ll see. It’s worth noting that breaking boulders does not cost extra hunger.
These are great! Please consider adding [OC] to the title of your post, as this definitely counts as original content.
I actually do have a shelved idea for a T2 equivalent to the crossbow: a blowpipe. The problem is that by the time you start using T4 gear you are guaranteed to have seen a shop, probably two of them, and so have had plenty of time to acquire darts. The same isn’t true for T2, so the value of the blowpipe would be overly dependent on that. I’m afraid that a ranged weapon without a limited ammo source is simply a non-starter, as I mentioned before that’s supposed to belong to the huntress.
Unfortunately Lemmy doesn’t directly support flair atm, putting the text in your title is an approximation of it.
Having an infinite use ranged weapon is a major part of the Huntress’ unique power, I wouldn’t want to water that down.
Absolutely awesome, I binged a bunch of Dungeon Meshi about a year ago but never fully caught up, I really should get back to it.
FYI, please consider adding [OC] to the start of your post title, this absolutely counts as original content.
Unfortunately I don’t know why PD isn’t available on the App Store anymore. For Google Play, it’s not showing up for lots of users because it is no longer being updated, and Google has poblic policies about this. I’m not privy to whatever private communications Apple may have sent Watabou about Pixel Dungeon.
I do know that Watabou is aware of this, but please keep in mind that Pixel Dungeon isn’t something he’s touched for years, and he is also a displaced person due to the war, which complicates everything.
It’s intended that mining has a hunger cost. The best way to avoid the guardians is to not wake them, be careful when you’re mining through walls-crystal nearby to them.
There are a few surprises like that hidden in the game’s code ;). Although I think ratmogrify is the only notable one that’s actually implemented into the game.
Huntress would definitely be a good candidate, given that seeing through grass benefits ranged attacks, and she’d get a nice mix of free offense and defense from sniper and warden abilities.
That sounds more like a Shattered Pixel Dungeon feature than a Lemmy event.
That’s not really a QOL change. I am aware that some people are having trouble finding hidden gold, but I’d rather not just outright remove it as a mechanic.
