    Blizzard has probably crunched the numbers and realized that the income they will lose to the 30% Steam cut (or maybe they negotiated a better deal) is worth it for the extra players it will bring in. This is nothing more than a numbers crunching game for profit. “Breaking down barriers” and whatever else they say in the article is just the usual PR bullshit.

    Disclaimer: I am still salty at Blizzard for stopping development on HotS, Starcraft and Warcraft

    Looks like steam is becoming even larger of a storefront with activision blizzard not making their games exclusive to battle.net anymore. On one hand happy for less exclusivity between game storefronts but on the other hand steam becomes even more dominant over everyone else
