Tried uninstalling and reinstalling from play store and no luck.
What Android version are you using? I think there’s currently an issue with older Android versions. If you have more information you can provide, that would be helpful to figure out the root cause! https://github.com/thunder-app/thunder/issues/178
Oh good to know, thank you. Yes I’m on quite an old device atm
Android 7. What other info is helpful? Galaxy S6
Looked into it. It’s a known Flutter issue with older Android devices including Android 7 unfortunately. Has to do with old expired certs. A work around might be possible though. I’ve updated that issue with relevant info.
Ah, thanks for the info. I’m hoping not to be stuck on this device for long anyway.
Just testing something, please ignore :p
I am not totally sure, but that sounds like a https error. Do other clients work? Does thunder work on other instances?
Posting this from connect successfully. I get this error immediately upon launching. When trying to log in it says sh.itjust.works and beehaw.org don’t appear to be lemmy instances, which of course they are
Hmmm. I have no idea. Sorry i cant be more help
No worries. Appreciate it nonetheless.
Hi Connect dev here (hopefully it’s ok to be posting here!) I basically followed the steps here https://stackoverflow.com/a/71090239 and added an SSL cert under assets. Hopefully that’s of use for Thunder.
Hey, love your app. It’s this something I could do it thunder Devs would have to?
