I totally get this. My son happens to be going to that hospital for treatment, and on the day I went by chance, it overlapped with the Uma Musume live event, but I was shocked to see trainers with horse ears attached lining up for the restroom deep inside the 7-Eleven in the hospital, or at the table area inside, loudly searching for trading cards without masks. No morals.

Is there a concert at Saitama Super Arena today? On the opposite side of Tama Ari, there are Saitama Red Cross Hospital and Saitama Prefectural Children’s Medical Center. They are tertiary emergency acute care hospitals. There are also signs saying “Unauthorized personnel are not allowed to enter.” Please refrain from using the convenience store or restrooms.

Love to see it. Wearing a mask to help prevent the spread of airborne diseases is actually a moral imperative.
Honestly feels like a herculian task to get westerners to realize that they were told getting sick makes you stronger so they could keep exploiting you at work and not have to pay for or deal with worker absences.
One of the worst messages during 2020 from health professionals was “My mask protects you; your mask protects me.” They should have understood that westerners are generally against helping others in anyway.
Trying to explain to people that the term “immunity debt” was literally fabricated out of whole cloth and has no scientific basis makes me feel fucking crazy.
