It’s shit quality, organized poorly, and even if you’re a subscriber it shoves ads for figures and shit in your face all the time. I get CR for free through my friends and I still never use it.

Anime culture (in the west) is entirely built on the backs of fansubbers and filesharing culture, and imo that’s something to continue to respect. They still deliver the best releases and contribute to the culture instead of trying to smash it out like CR’s aggressive anti-piracy propaganda does. If you really want to support the industry, awful business practices and all, buy blu rays and donate. Don’t support CR.
