The regulation provides that by 2027 portable batteries incorporated into appliances should be removable and replaceable by the end-user, leaving sufficient time for operators to adapt the design of their products to this requirement.
On this topic, I’m really surprised that Apple made Airtags with batteries that can be changed by the user. I’m even more surprised they used the most common coin cell as the battery
