Lemmy has a very foss focused privacy focused community and this is a bot which responds to YouTube links ( not privacy respecting ) with piped links ( privacy respecting ) so the people who don’t want to open YouTube due to said privacy concerns do not have to open YouTube. Similar to the reddit bots that would respond to amp links with the actual link.
