I think the biggest problem is most studios (whatever that means nowadays) have the pockets to wait it out for a while and have no problems generating absolute dog shit content and pawning it off on the customers.
Anyone in a position to help can donate to these charities that help entertainment workers facing financial hardship from the strike or other causes.
They know the top earners will scab if they wait long enough.
This is why we need to raise awareness of strike. Help them amplify their voices and generate the negative publicity that the studios are desperately trying to avoid!
They have actors, writers, and an phones. Maybe they can make YouTube videos to further their cause.
Is there anything stopping the writers from finally working on that next great American novel they all have collectively been putting off? If there isn’t something legally barring them, I expect the quality/quantity of books to increase soon.
