Absolute tripe. Only a hack writer would ruin their story with slop moralism like this. Give me heroes that are ruthless, not honorable. I want the good guys to take what they’re fighting for seriously and to treat their enemies like real threats to their life.

Unless you’re specifically writing for kids the good guys shouldn’t be pacifists or whatever and even then a decent work made for kids will still have the guts to admit to children that not every baddie deserves a redemption arc.
