The App Store went live on the 10th of July, 2008.
These are the first 8 apps I installed. It’s noteworthy how many apps from day 1 are still actively maintained today.
What are the first 8 apps you downloaded? In the App Store app, tap your account avatar, then tap “Purchased” to get a list of all apps you’ve downloaded. They’re listed in chronological order, so just scroll to the bottom.
Nothing too interesting for me.
I read somewhere that there were only 500 apps on day 1, so there were many options to pick from!
