    Anytime I feel bad about waking up one of my cats I think, “would they extend the same courtesy to me if they were late for work?”

    And then I realize the answer is absolutely not and they don’t work, they’re just lazy little jerks and they’d wake me up all the time for nothing if I didn’t lock them out of the bedroom when I go to sleep, they’re assholes!

    Love that white belly, I’d pet that hairy little monster.

    As long as you would work longer if a cat jumps on your lap it’s fair.

    IMHO, that’s a completely valid excuse. If I were a manager, I’d be like it’s totally fine to bring kitty to work with you. 😻
