I am interested to see your opinion on the recently launched Threads from meta, specially around possible federation/defederation in the future

Some instance owners are open to federation, some takes wait and see approach, while some will block them outright as seen on https://fedipact.online/

    Can the admins of Lemmy.world please make your position known on this important issue. Other popular instance have already announced that they will not federate with meta.

    Please let your users know where you stand. I am a new user however I am not interested in being exposed in anyway to that corporation.

    If you federate with meta I will close my account and leave. I would like to know as soon as possible.

    This looming threat has already had a cooling effect on my Lemmy usage.
