I’m considering moving from Android to iPhone, but I read a lot about iPhone images being over processed. What’s your opinion? Am I going to be disappointed in the camera?

I did find this thread where one user mentioned it may be the viewer on the iPhone, and that pictures look fine viewed on other devices.

I’m curious to hear opinions. How happy are you with your phone camera?

I’ve been very happy with the camera on my 14 Pro. I feel like the whole over processing issue is a little overblown. There are a few instances when it may go a little too far, especially when fully zoomed in. But overall, my photos look great. And if you want even more detail, if you have an iPhone pro you can shoot in raw, which on the 14 Pro is 48mp! I think if you look into any reviews of these devices or even most people who comment on line, you’ll find that most people think the cameras are great. And if you shoot video, the general consensus is that the iPhone shoots the best video of any phone, fullstop. On top off all of this, you can actually adjust the iPhones processing if you like. This actually adjusts the way the images are processed when you take them, it’s not a filter
